I was walking home from school. It was a nice day outside. It was about 90°F. I was sweating a lot. My house is about a mile or so from my school.

I was about half away there. I checked my phone. It was 2:25 p.m. I'm usually home by now. Either I was slower or something is weird. I've been seeing the same houses for about 10 minutes now. It just never occurred to me. I was to busy thinking about myself getting home and eating a snack.

I started to pick up my pace and I eventually started sprinting. I didn't see any cars. So I tried to cross the road. But I froze right before I got to the street. I heard something.

It was a giant truck. It was coming really fast. So I just got back on the sidewalk and starting walking towards my house. When the truck passed, nobody was in it.

I am really anxious. I'm walking faster. But I started to hear footsteps behind me. But I turned around and nobody was there. I turned around and everything went dark. I couldn't see or know where I was at.

I'm lost. I can't see at all.

Everything went light again. I saw a house. It was fairly old. The windows were boarded up. I walked up to the door and it opened and I couldn't believe what I saw.
