Life is Like A Nightmare (Discontinued)

Chapter 2

 Deeper and deeper they traveled, into the city, into the part that was forbidden to be entered by the public. John tapped the back of the driver's seat, "Hey, where are you going, I said I wanted to exit the city not get caught up with the law, you Know this area is off limits to the public." John said hastily.

"I know Johnny but I had some business to care of with an old friend, afterward we do whatever you want". John felt his heart stop as Jake turned around and smiled at him "Come on don't give me that look besides I should be the one who is mad since you did hurt me after all".

John leaned back, trying to merge into the car seat, wanting to put as much space between him and Jake as possible. He was timorous. Jake sped on the old road stopping in front of a rusty, worn down building. John felt his body lunge forward then slam back, silently thanking his past self for putting on his seat belt, he shuddered at Jake "I-why are you taking me with you I thought you said I wouldn't be involved with your work".

"And I thought you said you'd never leave but I guess we were both wrong" John shivered and fidgeted under Jake's piercing glare. Fiddling with his fingers not making eye contact with Jake.

"I didn't leave, I was just going home" John mumbled, knowing it was a futile lie.

Jake chuckled, hearing John clearly, even though he mumbled. "Baby let's not make this harder on yourself by lying to me" Jake turned around and faced him once more parking the car. "Though you are cute when you try to lie I rather it be in the bedroom than outside it" Jake caressed John's cheek causing him the flinch away. Jake in a split second of anger grabbed his face and made John look at him "Let's be lively now don't want to upset the clients now do we?"

Jake showed John a bright cheeky smile, then turned back around getting out of the car. He ran around to John's side in the back and opened the door for him. "Gonna keep staring off into space like that, I know I'm stunning and heart stopping, but now you're just over flattering me" Jake still holding onto his dimpled face smile. John got out quickly, but his haste was cut off, by Jake slamming the car door and trapping him against the car.

Jake leaned close to his ear and whispered "Babyyy, don't be a bad boy tonight, especially not in front of the clients. OK.....Ok" He said then proceeded to walk towards the lab like building. "Follow" He stated coldly without looking at John. Jake opened the door of the building allowing John to walk in first, Jake following right after once he made sure no one followed them.

John felt as if he became half of his actual size when he got a look at what laid inside. There was over a dozen men with guns littered around the building, while a woman and 3 men arguing could be heard, echoing in the building.

John slowed down his strides to take in his surroundings more. Ashtrays, cigarettes on top of cigarettes, women. Whores sucking off people's faces. Men on woman, man on woman, woman on woman, man or man (orgies everywhere). Almost like a whore house or club.

"Tsk" Jake pushed John when he stopped walking "Keep walking, we have somewhere to be" John looked at Jake, he was disgusted. As to not piss him off he continued walking. The voices he heard before got louder.

"We have to do it tonight we can't afford to wait any longer" one of the men said.

"NO, I won't let you take my people on some suicide mission!!" the woman snapped back.

"But we have no other choice Alex why can't you understand that" the other man almost pleaded.

"No I refuse to put my best people on a suicide mission so you can get a couple mill in your hands. Especially since you're not willing to take full coverage if they do in fact die on this mission."

"Alex, darling, I'm sure we can come to a mutual agreement, especially with our personal past innuendos." The man wearing a grey suit, suggested.

Jake knocked on the slightly cracked open door, peeking his head inside.

"Jake come here and tell these two idiots why their plan will never work" yelled Alex.

"And your idea to sit around and wait on our asses is any better" snapped the sharp haired man.

"A lot better than dying out there for no real reason, Asher" Alex hissed at him with venom laced words.

"Ladies, Ladies you're both beautiful" .

"Flattery will get you nowhere Jackson" Asher snarled.

"It got to you now didn't it" Jake smirked while Asher face soured.

Their bickering and arguing made John go completely unnoticed, until he knocked into a chair causing all eyes to be drawn to him.
