"Get Down here you lazy lads. Hurry up, We are late. Its already 9:30" Shadil was shouting on phone. We had to go around to see Mumbai and we were already late. We hurried up and moved towards the car.

"Where is Shiny?" Erin asked. "She will be coming with a friend." Shadil replied.

We Moved towards the 'Gateway of India.' It was a huge building to see. Magnanimously made it was a building standing straight with Its head held high. Hundreds of people could be seen around it. Small Children were selling cotton candies and balloons, teenagers could be seen selling radium made materials which would shine during night. A snake charmer was sitting at one corner of the entrance and people gathered around him to see the show. Few photographers would click pictures for a handful of coins. I was amazed to see the poverty. "People are so poor out here." I said in a sad voice. "

India was not poor, boy. It was made poor by your ancestors. Around two century ago, it was flooded with gold. Your ancestors took it all." a female voice said. We turned around to see and found A girl of about 19 standing there. " Hi this is Naaz, my friend" said Shiny who was also standing with the girl. Naaz, what a pretty name I thought. She just did not have a pretty name but a pretty face as well. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She was Tall almost 5'6 and had a perfect body. Her face was broad and eyes light brown. Her lips were pink and hair were deep curly black. She looked straight into my eyes and said, " Mr. Your forefathers did this to us, We were not poor. We had Money to boast about. You people came here and ruined it all. Even after 43 years of independence we are not able to build up what we have lost. Our people were slaughtered and the country was divided only because of you guys and you have the audacity to come here and say that our country is poor."  "Chill Girl. we were just saying. We did not mean to offend you. Sorry if my friend did, m sorry from his side" Erin said.

"You better be sorry." Naaz grinned. "Hi Naaz how are you? long time no see." Aryan hugged her and said. " I am good Bhai. You tell how have you been. Uncle aunty and everyone?" she replied in her sweet voice. " Everyone is fine.. " Aryan replied and thereafter they started chatting. I was now not interested in their chat at all, nor was i interested in 'the gateway' all I now cared about was the girl who loved her country and could take a stand for it. Her personality was impressive, her voice was stern and I could not take my eyes off her. "Josh.. Josh What do think? should we accompany them" Erin yelled. " Sorry sorry I was not paying attention." I said. "Dude I am asking that should we accompany Naaz ,Shiny and Shadil to Punjab. Shadil is getting engaged After three days." he said. "Why not?? we should." i said.

"OK. Then it is decided. We will catch a flight tomorrow And then straight to Chandigarh. We will have a blast guys." Aryan said. I was happy, not because we were going to Punjab or My friend's cousin was getting engaged but because I felt as if I had got a chance to be with Naaz.

We all spent that entire day together and by the end of it we returned back to the hotel. Naaz and Shiny had gone to their P.G and Shadil had left for his room.

I had come to know a lot about Naaz that day. I had come to know that she belonged to Chandigarh as well and had lost maximum of her family during partition. She had a bitter tooth for Muslims because she had heard stories of her family being slaughtered by them. She had lost her mother few years ago and her father worked for The Indian Army. She now lived in P.G and was pursuing her graduation from a college in Mumbai. After her mother's death Shadil's mother had treated her like a daughter. She also had her grandparents whom she loved and was excited to meet.

I had observed her the entire day. Her lips seemed to be happy but her eyes had refused to hide the dark inside her. She was sad beneath my mind said, and this sadness was not just because she had lost her mother, It was way too dark to understand. This girl has something, something deep I thought.

That night we all went to sleep even before time because the next day we had to dispatch for Punjab.

"Josh.. Josh help me.. Don't let him do this.. Josh..". "Kathie no kath.. No"

So finally I have introduced the main girl.. I hope you like this chapter as well.. Something is up with Josh as well.. but what.. keep reading keep guessing :) ;)... leave your comments and votes ;) love u all.
