Naruto's POV
It was a new day and I completely wanted to forget about the incident with Kiba.
Until I saw his ugly face. Now I just wanna punch him.
But anyway, classes were the usual. Teachers looked like they wanted to drown themselves. Nothing new.
But there's something I need to do during lunch. Something important.
When lunch finally came around, I was determined to do what I needed to do. So, I searched around the cafeteria, trying to find him.
I finally see him sitting down with his friends. I make my way over to him. He must've noticed someone approaching, so he looked up while I was walking towards him. When I stop in front of him, he and his friends were staring at me.
"Sasuke, I need to talk to you. Are you busy?" I ask.
He looked stunned. He took a couple seconds before replying. "No, not at all."
I just nodded and started walking out the cafeteria, knowing he'd follow. I walked towards an empty hallway. I heard his steps follow behind as we walked in silence. When I stopped, so did his steps.
There was a silence before I turned around and said, "I wanted to thank you."
"For what?" Sasuke asks, looking confused.
"For yesterday. If you weren't there, I probably would've stayed unconscious in that locker until a someone found me. So, thank you." I say sincerely.
"It was no big deal." Sasuke said with a nervous laugh while scratching the back of his neck.
"I also heard how you carried me to the nurse's office. Never knew you were such a gentleman." I said smiling and slowly walking towards him.
"Dobe, I can be when I want to." Sasuke said confidently.
I rolled my eyes playfully as I stopped in front of him. "Anyway, it made me happy when I heard that. A little flustered but really happy. I also realized something." I say.
"And what was that?" He asked curiously.
"That you've changed."
I looked at Sasuke. He looked shocked. But that shock quickly turned in to happiness. "Does that mean what I think it means?" he asks excitedly.
"If you're thinking that I forgive you then yeah." I say while shrugging and looking off to the side.
Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around a head nuzzling my neck.
He's hugging me.
Even though I was freaking out inside and probably as red as a tomato, I wrap my arms around his neck to hug him back.
Sasuke took a huge breath and sighed in content. But since his face is nuzzling my neck, the breath went on my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
"I-I see you're still clingy." I manage to say.
Sasuke lifts his head up, slightly pulling away, while his hands remain on my waist. My hands stay on his shoulders. I try to look at anything but his eyes.
"I missed you." Sasuke says.
My heart speeds up as I continue to look down, while remaining more than aware of his hands still on my waist.
Before I could find the words to reply with, Sasuke says, "Come sit with me and my friends," as he starts to grab my wrists.
That was when I snapped out of it. I gently pulled my wrists away from his hands. "Yeah, no. I don't like Kiba. I dislike him even more after what he did to me which I still have to pay him back for." I said with a frown on my face.
"What did he do?" Sasuke asks.
"Dei didn't tell you? He was the one that put me in that locker, and trapped in that locker room." I say, shuddering a little while thinking about it.
I looked at Sasuke. He looked like he was going to explode but was doing a good job at holding it in.
"I'll deal with him later. But still, come sit with us. I'll just force Kiba out." Sasuke said, still hopeful.
"Fine, since you're pratically begging me." I gave in, with a smile.
Sasuke rolled his eyes playfully. He then grabs my wrist and drags me to the cafeteria, and I just let myself be dragged.
Too bad I didn't notice the person, lurking in the shadows with a smirk on their face, at the time.
•••
As we entered the cafeteria, we came to a halt when we reached Sasuke's table. Neji and Shikamaru both nodded their heads as a greeting, while Kiba just snarled like the dog he is.
"Why did he come back with you?" Kiba asked Sasuke, emphasizing the 'he'. I rolled my eyes.
Sasuke grabbed Kiba, by the collar, up and out of his seat. I had to hold back my laugh as Sasuke held out the empty chair for me.
"What the fuck Sasuke! What are you doing?" Kiba nearly yelled.
Sasuke just glared at him and said, "Go away. You're a nuisance." It was enough to shut Kiba up. Kiba angrily ran out the cafeteria.
Ah, the famous Uchiha glare. Haven't seen it in a while.
I smiled and plopped down on the empty chair. I looked at both Neji and Shikamaru, who both looked unsure of what to do.
I grinned at them as Sasuke took his seat next to me. I looked around the cafeteria to see Deidara, flirting it up with Itachi as usual,
and Yahiko, who was at the same table, staring dead at me.He was smirking at me and I didn't know what to do. So, I gave him a small, awkward smile back. I didn't know wether to think of this as a coincidence, and we just happened to look at each other at the same time or creepy and he was staring at me for a while.
I didn't think much of it though. Throughout the rest of lunch, I talked to Sasuke and his friends, but mainly Sasuke. A clingy Sasuke.

So this chapter is pretty bad but hey! Naruto forgave him and we finally got a sasunaru moment (kinda). (-:
