Here I am. 2 am in the morning, for the third time in this week waiting for Kygo to come home.

I would usually sleep, but lately I can't. We have a daughter Lily who is three years old. When she was baby she would woke up every two hours and I guess I got habit of not sleeping at night since then. She was the night bird, I see from who she got that. Gladly, she is not anymore.

In the last two months Kygo was constantly busy, coming late home saying how he is in the studio. This started to annoy me because I am the one who do all the work around Lily. She changed my life, she is mines and Kygos best accomplishment, but I simply can't do all by myself. My parents and Kygo's parents helps a lot but I need Kygo next to me. This is our journey.

I was watching TV when I heard front door opened. I looked up to see Kygo coming. He wasn't drunk I can tell.

'Hey baby' he said as he came up to me trying to kiss me. As he tried to do that I turned my head and got up.
'What's wrong?' he asked as he also got up.

'Are you really asking me what's wrong?' I looked at him. He shrugged.
'You are never home Kygo. That's worng. You have a daughter. Remember? Her name is Lily in case you forgot.' I said pissed off.

'I am home. Someone has to work. And don't bring Lily in this.' He raised his voice.

'Oh what, you suddenly care about her?' I asked him and I see how my words hurted him.
'I do care about her.' He said.
'yeah, you showed how much you care.' I said.
'Maybe you don't need me anymore.' he said.
'Maybe, I don't. I anyways do everything all by my self.' I said
'Then I should leave since you don't need me.' he yelled
'Then leave.' I yelled back.

Kygo was about to say something when I heard tiny footsteps on wodden floor.

'Mommy, why are you and daddy yelling?' Lily asked as she showed up holding her teddy bear.
'Oh sweetheart, we were just talking.' I lied as I kneeled down to pick her up.

She wrapped her arms around me and held on me.
'You said daddy leave?' she asked me and I looked at Kygo not knowing what to say.

'Daddy is leaving for a few days baby.' I lied again. My heart is breaking because I have to lie to her.
'why daddy?' she said as she was reaching towards Kygo. He took her and she immediately wrapped her tiny arms around his neck.

He was about to tell her but I could be there and I just went in the backyard. I was holding my tears for too long. Maybe we came at the end of the road. I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Kygo.

'Can we talk?' he asked. I didn't say anything.
'I am sorry. I know I haven't been home lately but I am just' but he couldn't finish it.
'You just what? Are not capable of being with us? We are not too good for you?' I said removing my tears.

'I am scared that I am doing wrong with Lily. When I look at you, you do everything so natural, you know things. I don't.' he said with eyes red from crying.

'But I learned those things Kygo. I am not born knowing them. ' I said.

'But you are such a good mother and I am shitty father.' when I heard those words left his mouth I felt terrible. He never said he felt like this, he never showed it.

'No, you are not. You are the best father for her. She loves you more than anything.' I came closer to him as he put his hands on my waist.
'Kygo, she is daddy's girl' and as I said this his face changed because he smiled.
'You two have special relationship which only fathers and daughters have. You just need to be here. With us.'

'I will be here, just you have to be next to me.' He said and I nodded.

These three years were crazy because you are never fully ready for a child. He always wanted to be father and I know that this was just moment of weakness.
