It was late at night, fog filling the air, making it even harder to see anything. It was so dangerous to be alone at that time of night, especially around the woods. However, an old man was walking through the woods, holding a stick lit with fire at the tip to help him see a little bit. After a while, he arrived at a huge house that looked old and pretty much just creepy and haunted.
He looked around, feeling uneasy, then decided that callint out was a good idea. "Hello?" He shouted. Just then, he heard something movint behind him. He turned around quickly, but saw nothing.
He sighed in relief, and turned around once more. Next thing he knew, his scream echoed through the silence of the night, and he was never seen or heard of again.

"Is this the village we're staying at?" A blonde, tan skinned guy said. He had violet eyes that were lined with kohl. He was , but his eyes were more of a silvery-lilac color. He also had a scar across one of his eyes, that went down to his cheek. "Yes. Kul Elna." Even his voice was deeper and smoother.

They sat in silence until they reached the place they're staying at, and when they got off the cart, you could see their attire better. The bigger man was wearing a crimson red robe with a few golden stripes and a dark blue skirt underneath, some golden jewellery and gold sandals. The other guy was wearing a dark purple rope, a black skirt, some more silvery jewellery and black sandals.

They carried all their things from the cart to their new humble house, then started setting everything on shelves and tables. Potions, herbs, books, and some poisons to be used if needed.

As soon as they finished organizing everything, they decided to turn in for the night, and just go to bed.

The next day, they decided to head over to the markets to get some tools and ingredients that they needed and were rare around other villages.

As they were standing while the shop owner was mixing some things together, they heard two men speaking.

"Have you heard about the bridge that connects us to other villages? It broke down this morning! We're now trapped in this village, and a lot of commodity was supposed to arrive today, and my shop is almost out of fabric!" A man said frantically.
"Don't worry. We still have the carrier pigeonsto connect us with villages while they work on the bridge."
"I hope so, friend."
Malik and Akefia looked at eachother, then decided they've heard enough.

They went back to where they're staying, and started working on what they got from the shop earlier.

"Hey, Kefi?" Said Malik.
"I told you not to call me that."
"Whatever. So,uh.. I noticed that we were kind of running low on money, and it's about time you start charging your patients for money."
Akefia rolled his eyes, then sighed.
"We don't need money, Malik. We have what we need, and we don't need any more. We've talked about this before."
"And I'm never satisfied with the answer I get! If you're good at something, never do it for free!" Malik half-yelled, his temper slightly rising.

"Alright, Malik. But I won't be taking money unless the patient is well and in good health." Malik huffed, but at least it was better than nothing.

They decided to head to bed once they finished what they were working on.

Akefia woke up in the middle of the night to a loud knock on his door. It was raining heavily outside, which meant that whatever it was that this person wanted, it must be urgent.
He went to open the door, still slightly dizzy and sleepy. He opened it, and saw nothing.

He was so confused, but just shrugged it off so he can go back to bed. He closed the door, and as he turned around, he saw a girl standing at the end of his hallway, with a white, dirty dress that looked torn from the bottom, and long hair covering her face. His eyes widened, then a flash of lightning made it hard to see for a second or two and as soon as it went away, the girl was right in front of him, her hair no longer covering her ghostly, torn face and bleeding eyes.
