Adopted by FOB: drama on tour

Chapter 9

The tour soon finished with Alex going home as well. In the end, I got to spend a lot of time with Dan while the band were busy. We started to rekindle our friendship since we hadn't talked in so long. It was really nice.
As soon as the tour finished we went home so that I could rest since I had broken ribs and wrist. Dan came over everyday as well as one of my best friends Beth since she lived down the road. Our days were usually spent watching films or the shows or just doing the average things that teenagers do.

School started for us and every morning we walked to school. It was great for us to be able to go to school together again. Since we had broken up me and Dan hadn't talked but the tour fixed that.

One Monday morning I was scrolling through my phone to see that With Confidence were going on tour in a venue half an hour away from me.

"DDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDD" I screamed.

"WHAT BAND IS ON TOUR NOW AMY?" He replied. I giggled since he had guessed what I was going to ask him.

"WITH CONFIDENCE"

"WHEN?"

"SATURDAY THE 25TH IN LONDON AT THE O2 ISLINGTON"

"GET DAN OR BETH TO GO WITH YOU AND IF WE KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS GOING THATS AN ADULT THEN MAYBE"

"YAYYYY THANKS DAD" I run upstairs to hug him. He was in his closet trying to find the right fedora. Typical.

"It's okay" He laughs hugging me back before I pick the fedora for him and place it on his head.

"Good choice" He comments before turning to look at it in the mirror. He checks his watch "Uh Amy it is 7:50. Don't you leave for school at this time?"

"OOPS YEAH. GOTTA RUN" I rush before running to my room, grabbing my school bag and running out the door with my phone and my keys in my hand.

Dan was waiting by the shop where we usually meet. He laughed seeing me in my rushing state.

"What took you so lo-" He managed to say before I cut him off.

"WITH CON TOUR YOU GO?" I gasp. Realising that didn't make sense, I tried again.

"WITH CONFIDENCE ARE ON TOUR, WILL YOU GO WITH M-"

"HELL YES" Dan replied back. I laugh at him. He was so cute.

"YAY" I yell before hugging him. He chuckles and hugs me back.

Starting to walk again once we had detached from each other, we talked about the details like where it was and who we think Patrick might get to take us.

School finished that day and me and Beth were walking out of art with out heavy art folders. I did photography and she did fine art but we were in the same class. We passed the French rooms where we knew dan would be and heard him talking to someone.

"I think I still like her dude" came Dans voice. Me and Beth glanced at each other before silently getting closer.
"But you ruined it last times. It is going to take a lot to get her back" the voice of his friend nick replied.
"I know. I feel awful. I didn't trust her and I ruined it. She just means so much to me"
"Its gonna take a lot to do it bro. But I'm sure you can do it. I got to go, talk to ya tomorrow" Nick replied before leaving. Me and Beth attempted to act like we had only just arrived as nick passed us.
"Goodbye girls" he waved.
"Bye nick" we chorused back, waving.
Dan appeared next to us swiftly and pulled us into a group hug which took us by surprise.
"Awww Danny what was that for?" We asked as he let go, a smile appearing on his face as he towered over us.
"For being my friends. I love you guys" he replied.
"Well we love ya too. Now let's go, these art folders are heavy" Beth replied laughing. We joined in and made our way out the school.

When we said goodbye we all hugged each other. Beth immediately texted me saying we needed to talk about the conversation we overheard. I typed back that I would call as soon as I got home.

Opening the front door, I got engulfed by another hug. Wow, people are obsessed with hugs today.
"AMY"
"BRENDON"
I giggled before eagerly hugging him back. I hadn't seen Brendon in ages.

We talked for a while before I headed to my room to call Beth. As soon as I pressed the ring button she answered.

"Is it about you or Rosie?" She questioned immediately.
"Hello to you too" I laughed. "I don't know. Maybe someone else?"
"I don't know. It's weird"
"Ya, and so is me missing the next episode of Teen Wolf, so I got to go. I'll call you again later?"
"Sorry I can't, family will be over. See you tomorrow"
"Ya. Goodnight"
"Goodnight" I finished before ending the call and getting out of my school uniform.
