Roberts first hospital visit

Roberts POV
" you can't be serious your leaving me with your family again." My heart dropped as I held me and Aaron's 9 week old daughter Emma in my arms. I hardly ever saw Aaron and when I did it was only for a couple of hours which would fly by.
" I'm sorry babe Chrissy is insisting I work today I wish I didn't have to. I promise I'll make it up to you." Aaron kissed me before putting our 1 year old daughter Abby in her crib and then walking out the house.
" missing Aaron already?" Chas sat next to me on the couch and took Emma off of me so she could cradle her in her arms. I nodded my head.
" I just can't believe Chrissy is making Aaron work on our anniversary tomorrow." I took Emma sack from Chas snuggling Emma in my arms.
" oh yea it's your anniversary tomorrow I totally forgot. 6 years tomorrow wow. You must be happy." Chas smile while getting her phone out and texting someone.
" I wish I could be happy but with Aaron at work and me stuck looking after Emma and Abby there isn't much to be happy about." I kissed Emma on the head still cradling her in my arms.
"Look I'll look after Emma and Abby for you. I'm sure Cain would be more then happy to cover for Aaron which is the best offer I can give." Chas showed me the text message for Cain. Which read:
Just asked Chrissy if it's ok if I cover Aaron's shift it's not ok with her but I'll still do it. I'm not letting Chrissy boss me about. If she asks where Aaron is then I'll just say he's ill.
" Thanks Chas it really means a lot to me." I clutched my head as a stabbing pain shot through my head.
" Are you ok?" Chas took Emma from home agin which just made me clutch my head even harder until the pain went away.
" yea I'm fine it's just a headache it's going away now." I explained while horrible thoughts of what it could be past through my brain.
" Well if your sure then we are not sitting here in the back room all night then. Come on I'll buy you a pint." Chas went upstairs to put Emma down for her nap. Once she came back down she pulled me into the front of the pub.

My head started hurting again after a while and this time it was 10x worse which made me let out a loud yelp.
" right that's it. Bob mind the bar I'm taking you to the hospital.Oh and Debbie look after Abby and Emma their in the back room."Chas put my arm around her neck and guided me out the pub to her car.

Aaron's POV
I had almost finished fixing the last car of the night when I got a message from Debbie.
Get yourself to the hospital quickly. Chas has taken Robert to the hospital he was complaining about his head. Not saying it's anything to worry about but get yourself to the hospital just in case it is.
" I don't see many cars being fixed" Chrissy almost snatched my phone off of me.
" well I'm leaving anyway." I put the tools back into the tool box.
" I don't think so." Chrissy practically pulled me back before I pushed her away and made my way to my car.

Roberts POV
My head was still pounding even once I'd seen the doctor. Tears were running down my face quickly. once Aaron got here I was already waiting with Chas.
"Well?" Aaron knelt down next to me.
" I've got a rare blood type illness the same......... the same one that my dad died of." I put my head in my hands while inside my head I was screaming in agony.
Aaron's face dropped as a single tear made its way down his face.
" no they've got to of made a mistake." Aaron rubbed my leg as he tried to force a smile.
" Doctors don't make those kinds of mistakes." Chas added while trying to reassure her son everything was ok knowing full well it wasn't.
" let's just face it Aaron in a few years I'll be dead." I was now shaking like mad.
" no Robert your not. We will get through this we will get you the treatment you need. I'm not letting you die I promise." Aaron reassured me.
" the treatment will cost millions." The pain in my head was now leaving.
" I'm sure all of us singles will chip in.us singles are all about family and you are family." Chas smile at both me and Aaron.
