Aaron's POV
I laid on the couch with Robert rapped in my arms he was struggling to sleep so I laid with him so he could sleep. We use to have our own place up at mill but since all of our money now needed to go to Roberts treatment we had to move in with my mum Chas. it wasn't that bad at first but now Liv and Charity are back from America it's a really tight squeeze a specially with Abby and Emma needing a room.
" wow have I been asleep on this couch all night?" Robert rubbed his eyes before sitting up on the couch.
" I'm afraid so." I replied taking my phone out of my pocket and looking at the time. It was already 12:00pm.
" we seriously need a place of our own again." Robert flashed a smile at me before putting his head on my shoulder again.
" we do. But the only thing that matters to me is getting you the treatment. Everything else can just wait." I kissed Robert gently on the lips before being interrupted by Charity and mum walking downstairs. Charity was holding Our youngest Emma in her arms and mum had Abby in her arms.
"You didn't have to get them we would of gotten them up later." Robert turned his head to look at mum and Charity before taking Emma out of charity's arms.
"No it's fine. Oh Debbie called before she said she want you and Robert to go over to hers for a while. She's got some news for you both. Sounded pretty urgent" Mum handed me Abby who I rapped in my arms and kissed her on the top of her head.
"Well we can always go over now if you want." Robert flinched in pain so I helped him to the couch to sit down.
Roberts POV
My right side started to hurt a lot more then my head did and I couldn't help myself but flinch in pain. Aaron quickly helped me to the couch.
" Stop fusing. I'm fine it's just a bit of pain that's all." I lied it was a lot more then just pain. It hurt so much it felt like someone was carving my right side out.
" are you sure?" Aaron's face was full of worry.
" babe I'm sure now let's go over to Debbie's and you can worry more about me when we get home." I kissed Aaron on the cheek lightly.
Aaron's POV
" ok" I smiled at Robert before putting Abby down on the couch and helping Robert up. I quickly took Emma out of his arms and gave her back to charity before walking out the door with Robert.
" Erm you were supposed to be in work an hour ago. If you don't go now I'll fire you." Chrissy smirked from across the road.
" fire me then. I don't care." I lied I need the money for Robert but all that mattered was him now I could just leave him.
" I don't know why you care so much about that pathetic waste of air." Chrissy's snide remarks didn't bother me but I could feel Robert hold onto my shoulder. I felt all of his wight on my shoulders now.
"Go and find someone else to bother Chrissy. And ' That pathetic waste of air' as you so put it is my husband. And I love him. As much as that must kill you to hear it's true now go away." I almost pushed Robert into the car. I could feel him almost yelp in agony as I lowered him into the car.
" Are you sure your ok?" I asked once more knowing dam well that Robert wasn't well at all. He didn't answer. Instead he just nodded. I walked round to the other side of the car and got in.
It didn't take long to get to Debbie's but it took longer to get Robert out of the car without hurting him in some way.
" look your gonna have to get yourself out of the car since anything I do to help just hurts you." I stoped trying to pull Robert out of the car and kneeled next to him.
" I saw you from inside do you need help?" Debbie closed the door behind her as she walked over to the car where Robert looked to be in quite a lot of pain now.
Roberts POV
I sat still in Aaron's car struggling to get myself out.
" unless you have a crowbar I don't think you can help."Aaron said sarcastically before starting to help me out the car again. This time I managed to get out of the car now 100% pain free though.
" Come on let's get you to the couch. " Debbie ran over to the door and opened it for me. Aaron had tight hold of me so I didn't lose balance. I kept on telling them both I was fine but that was a lie. Ever since I woke up today I was in pain. I knew that having this illness wasn't going to be easy but I didn't know it was gonna be this hard.
Once we go inside Debbie's house Aaron lowered me down onto the couch before sitting next to me.
Sarah sat next to Debbie on the other couch.
" Well it's not really my place to say because it was Sarah's idea so I'll let Sarah say it." Debbie tapped Sarah on the shoulder to get her attention.
" erm....... since you and Robert helped me when I needed the money for my treatment. I thought it would be a good idea to give you the 20 grand you need to get your treatment." Sarah smiled at me and Aaron.
" that's very thoughtful of you Sarah thank-you" I smiled back at Sarah before she wandered over time and gave me a hug.
" thank you Sara. But you do know Roberts illness is much more serious then yours." Aaron put his hand in my and put his head in my shoulder.
Sarah nodded and wandered back over to Debbie.
