Depression
She walked on the beach on a sunny day
And stepped into the water
It cooled her ankles, so she walked in farther
At knee length she began to shiver
But insisted she should continue
Deeper, deeper she went
The water splashed around her waist
Clouds filled the sky
It got too dark to see
But she continued on
The water slashed at her neck
She cried for help but no one could hear
It was hopeless, but she continued on
Into the deep dark ocean
Her head was swallowed by the water
She could not swim up to the surface
And she drowned as the storm raged on
