Ocean City Pt.1

*the class goes to Ocean City Maryland USA for their summer vacation and stay their for three-four days. While there, surprisingly, the blonde and red head have fun hanging out together [mild cursing involved]*

Part one- boardwalk

"Chloe!!" Nathaniel saw the white truck move through the crowd and was shocked that the blonde hadn't even notice the vehicle was in front of her.

The ginger quickly went through the crowd and grabbed the blonde's wrist and dragged her to the side of the boardwalk. The blonde looked up from her phone and saw a truck full of people moving by before her. She was confused as the truck rolled by. "Geez Chloe pay attention to your surroundings!" The blonde blinked once and turned her head to see an attractive red head gripping her wrist. His eyebrows arched and teeth gritted from what looked like agitation from her sudden cloudiness.

"W-what..?" She asked in a hushed voice, obviously wasn't realizing she was almost crashing head first into the moving vehicle. A small huff came from the red head's nose, giving her an inner irritation from his action. "You were almost squashed by a truck, plus you were lost in a wave of people that no once could fine you. It was a good thing I did. Didn't you even hear the beeping?"

Chloe slowly shook her head, her eyes meeting his, but wasn't really here at the moment. She felt his hand loosen his grip on her bracelet and was brought to the side of his red sleeveless hoodie with a huff.
"Well...don't put your earbuds in and stare at your phone when there's a truck coming after you..." his sea green eyes darted to the direction of the shops. He moved his hand behind his neck "a-and...stay close to the group and don't wander off...like you did before..." he looked at the blonde again, who didn't look at her phone this time and just stared at him with those clouded eyes. She wasn't judging his efforts of saving her at all, but just looking at him in the eyes...either here or in her little fantasies.

His agitated look deflated a couple of minutes ago and was replaced with one of embarrassment. Heat rising in his face and not from the burning weather  but from his realization that he just saved her and was now complaining of her safety. When did he care for her?

Wait. Was she even listening to him right now?

"Chloe? Are you even listening to me?" He asked, but not response and just her innocent clueless stare. He stepped closer to her and huffed, actually hearing the faint music playing through her earbuds. He plucked one of her earbuds out of her ear. She blinked rapidly in response. Her eyes widened like she was finally paying attention.

"H-huh?"  Nathaniel tried again "I said: you should be more careful and not stray from the crowd. Pay attention got that?"

Chloe blinked one more time and nodded "yeah...got it" she could see him huff through his nose "well, good...cause I'm not doing that again" he didn't look away from her gaze for about a minute until he felt his phone vibrate in his shorts.

Nathaniel took out his phone and saw that Adrien was calling him. "It's Adrien, better tell him I found you here...ways away from everyone else" he sighed the last words and answered.

As the blonde saw him answer the call, facing away from her and at the shops, she continued to look at him in concentration and being lost in her questioning thoughts.
Like:
Why was he here?

Where did everyone else go?
How far did I go?

I thought Sabrina was with me, wait where is she?

Holy crap it's getting late. What time is it?

Wait...why did he...? It's so hot out here I'm hungry!

She blinked and came back to reality to see the red head still on his purple cased phone and right now was looking at her. She felt her breath caught in her throat.
