"You need a date," Lizzie said slamming her locker.
"No, you need to get that stick our of your butt," Kitty said, slamming her locker harder.
Lizzie Hearts and Kitty Cheshire, the two most powerful girl at Bookend High School. Lizzie was hands down the most beautiful and the most popular girl in the school, with an edge of coldness on the side. She was president of the fashion club and was the only junior as a student ambassador.
Kitty was probably the second most popular girl, defiantly the second most popular junior. She was a cheerleader, but not head cheerlead even though she could be. She was a mean girl, but not the meanest girl in school even if she wanted to be. She got what she wanted and when she didn't, she made sure the person who got it would end up not wanting it for much longer.
Lizzie and Kitty had known each other their whole lives. Both came from rich homes, but homes with only one parent that wasn't even there half the time. They learned at a young age that you should always have someone like you at your side, even if you didn't like them. Luckily for Kitty and Lizzie, they did like each other.
Unless Lizzie was hosting a party, then Kitty didn't really like that 'Lizzie'. That 'Lizzie' was trying to make Kitty say yes to one of the dozen guys that asked her, whom all she had declined.
"Kitty," Lizzie whined as the two made their way to the dining hall.
"One sec," Kitty said, stopping in front of a locker and slamming in shut.
"Hi Rosabella," She said in a voice that was like a piece of candy that was too sweet to like, "Do you have my homework."
Rosabella was a nerd. Rosabella was ok with being a nerd. And Rosabella let other using her nerdiness to their advantage. Like Kitty.
As long as Rosabella didn't do anything wrong. Kitty won't do, and will make sure that nobody else, anything to her. That was how the arrangement went.
"Here you go," Rosabella said as she spoke in a slightly hollow tone, pulling a purple folder out of her bag and handing it to Kitty, "I'll have your history essay done and ready on Monday."
Kitty nodded her head upon hearing the hollow tone, before smirking and turning to Lizzie, "Do you want her to do you too," Kitty turned her head back to Rosabella, "I'm sure Rosie wouldn't mine."
"I'm fine," Lizzie huffed, turning her head to go to the dining hall.
"Hey Rosie, how's your tutoring session with Daring Charming going," Kitty asked, making sure her voice was perfectly clear as she spoke Daring Charming.
Daring Charming was the biggest heartthrob that Bookend High had ever seen. Though he only seemed to date two girls at the school. Apple White, student body president and the women most likely to become the First Women President, and Lizzie.
The whole thing started last year when Daring and Apple were Juniors while Kitty and Lizzie were sophomores.
For the first time since 7th grade, Daring and Apple started the year out not as a couple, for reason that was still unknown. Daring and Lizzie then started going out but during winter break everyone had been sent pictures of Daring at Apple's house. Daring picking Apple up from a restaurant. Daring holding Apple in his arms, her head on his chest. It was clear that there was still something there. Even though Daring denied it, Lizzie still broke up with him. Even though she didn't want to. Daring and Apple spent a lot of time together but it the end Daring had still taken Lizzie to prom last year.
Now it was still all up in the air. Apple didn't seem to even be trying with Daring. Apple seemed to be spending all her time looking over final decisions for the upcoming school musical with Raven, who was another popular senior girl and was in charge of anything music related in the school. But it seemed that Lizzie was still in the game for Daring's heart. At least some of the time it seemed.
