"TESSA!! GET DOWN HERE!" I looked at the stairs, waiting for her to appear. Once I saw her, I told her about my plans for the night. "You better not be busy tonight because me and you, are having a movie night." After a few minutes of silence and her staring at me, I continued. "I have at least five movies picked out and I went to the store earlier and bought chips, pretzels, cookies, soda, marshmallows and the pizza guy should be here soon. Now, go put on these fluffy pajamas while I put on mine. (Right are Tessa's, left are Cyndi's)

*20 minutes later*
I looked at everything in front of me. "Okay, everything should be set up. Let's go over the checklist!" Tessa started going down the list. "Chips, pretzals, soda, movies, pizza, marshmallows and cookies." As she read off the items we needed, I made sure we had everything. After that was cleared that we did, I had us sit down on the couch and snuggle up with fluffy blankets. I picked up the first movie which was My Neighbor Toronto. Tessa looked at me. "Oh my god! That's my favorite movie!" I laughed. "Yeah I know." I put the movie in but before I coud play it, Tessa stopped me. "Cyndi, why are you doing this? This isn't something you would usually do." I looked down before answering. "I know you've been going through a lot and that you life hasn't been the best right now and you just, you don't deserve it. You don't deserve to be treated badly or feel sad. I like seeing you happy all the time but, I don't see that much anymore. I know you try to hide it with a smile but, I know you. I know that your smile is fake and I know that you hate your life right now. But I promise, it will get better. If you ever need to talk about anything, stupid or serious, you better talk to me. I don't care if I'm mad at you, hanging out with someone else, sleeping, or busy. I will always have time to talk to you. Wake me up if I'm asleep, call me if I'm with someone else, text me if I'm busy. I wil always answer. Maybe not immediately, but I will answer. I promise. I love you. So much. I wouldn't know what to do if something happened to you." For a while, we just looked at each other. Then, after 5 minutes of hugging, we started the movie.
After movie night was over, there were two slices of pizza left, half a bag of marshmallows, no pretzels, one bag of chips left, no sodas and no cookies left. "We are not healthy" I laughed. Tessa nodded, agreeing. We eventually fell asleep while talking about random crap.
