   Ever since high school, my parents have been pushing me to get a job. I never really knew what I would be interested in, until the end of schooling. I grew up in a fairly rich family, so I got to pay through college easily. I've always been obsessed with music. I play like 100 instruments, and I've been in chorus since 3rd grade.

   My mom suggested me doing music for a while. I never really thought I would have fun doing it though. I usually only did it to pass the time. Well, until I started to go through some really hard times. I grew up very religious, and in my mind set, homosexual people were sins, and spawns of the devil.

   I had realized that I'm not anything like what my church had told us. Even though I am gay. I started having these feelings for my best friend. His name was Kim Taehyung. He was very supportive of me, even though he probably didn't even know what it was. So I started to write down everything through songs.

   I made songs about a lot of the stuff I had to go through. Anxiety, stress, happy times, confused times, when I would be scared and lonely, when I felt proud about everything. So that's where my music career started. I was finally happy with myself too.

   After about 7 years in college, I was off to Seoul to find a perfect company for me to work at. I signed at a lot of places. Including YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, FNC Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, Cube Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and a new one called Big Hit Entertainment.

   All of them so far were really popular, and I would be happy with all of them. Within a couple of days, I got an email from Big Hit. They wanted me to come audition. They said I had to write a 2 1\2 minute song, and bring it in a week to sing for them. This is what happened.

RING RING RING RING

   "안녕하세요." (Hello)

   "안녕하세요, Tae!" I said back to him. "I just got an email from Big Hit! One of the companies I signed for! I have to make a two and a half minute song, and perform it in front of them in a week. I wanted to know if you would want to help me?" I asked, trying my best not to talk very fast. I was nervous and I was hoping he would say yes.

   "Ah, (Y/N)! I got the same offer!! We can work on the songs together!" He yelled back to me. That's when I almost dropped the phone. I had known this kid for 19 years, and I never in my life knew he had anything to do with music.

   "Ah, ok! But, since when do you like music?" I asked, honestly very curious.

   "I love music! Just never really been around it. I need to express my feelings somewhere!" I tried to hear out his reasoning, but didn't succeed very well.

   "Haha ok! Come over in 10, and we can start on the songs!"

   "K, be right over!"

A Week Later

   Me and Taehyung had finished our songs, and were headed to the audition building. When we got there, there was a huge line and I immediately got scared. Although Taehyung didn't seem the least intimidated.

   "Ah, (Y/N) what's wrong?" He asked, sounding a little concerned.

   "Nothing. Just a bit scared, I guess." I said, not wanting him to be upset. It worked. He just shrugged and looked back at the line.
