The text from Luke comes about five minutes after we've pulled into the driveway, Niall and I cuddling on the couch, Louis beside us holding Madelyn. Zayn reads it off to all of us, and everyone visibly relaxes. Liam leans against the doorframe to the kitchen, a glass of water in his hand, the rim pressed against his lips. "Is Maddy asleep?" He asks quietly, pushing off of the doorframe to come peek around the couch at her.

"Yes, and I think I'm ready to follow her lead." I say, yawning midsentence. The Alphas chuckle and next thing I know, I'm being lifted off of the couch and into Zayn's arms.

"Off to bed we go then." Zayn tells us, heading towards the stairs.

"Wait!" I all but yell when I remember what I wanted to ask them, causing Zayn to pause his movements. "Can we.. move Maddy's crib into our room for the time being?" I ask unsurely, teeth sinking into my bottom lip, as I blink up at all four of them.

"We'll get right on that." Louis answers, kissing the top of my head as he passes by. Zayn sets me on my feet, pressing a kiss to the top of my head as well, before he follows Louis upstairs.

When my eyelids flutter open the next morning, I see all of my Alphas huddled around me, still sleeping (and snoring very loudly, in Liam's case). I smile tiredly, carefully untangling myself from Niall's grasp, and ease my way over Zayn's and Louis' legs. Louis shifts after my feet touch the floor and I turn back instantly, hoping I didn't accidentally wake the alpha up.

Louis' eyelids are still shut though and he settles down after a minute, so I quietly walk over to Maddy's crib, anxious to make sure my baby girl is okay. She is, her little eyes blinking up at me when I hover over the top of the crib.

A soft smile crosses my face at the sight of her. I reach in and gently lift her up, cradling her small body to my chest. "Good morning, angel." I coo quietly, walking out of the room so neither one of us accidentally wake one of the boys up yet.

Her face stretches into a tiny yawn, her eyes slowly drooping, her head resting on my chest. The living room comes into view and I pad over to the couch, easing my body down without jostling her too much. I twist around, leaning my back against the arm of the chair. I lay her on my chest, her tiny fists right beside her cheeks, and watch as her eyes slowly fall shut again.

I don't even know how long I stay like that, barely even twitching a muscle in fear of waking Madelyn up, before Liam enters the room. He smiles instantly when he spots us, tired eyes turning soft. "Is she asleep?" He asks, his voice barely above a whisper. He comes around the couch, kneeling in front of us. Then he leans over and kisses my forehead, and the back of Maddy's head.

"Yeah," I answer, just as quietly.

"Scared me when I woke up and didn't see either one of you." Liam admits after a few minutes of silence.

I jerk my head up to look at him, faces inches apart. "I'm sorry, I didn't think about that. I figured I'd take her in here so if she started crying it wouldn't wake any of you guys."

"It's alright." Liam chuckles, more a breath of air then anything. "I smelled your scent, both of your scents, and realized you were still in the house."

"Oh," I answer, unsure of what else to say. Madelyn moves around on my chest, drawing both of our attentions to her.

"H?" Liam asks, and it's the unsure tone in his voice that makes me look up instantly, my eyebrows furrowing together in concern.

"Yeah, Li?"

"What do you think about what Veronica said? About me being the father to Maddy?" Liam rattles off his questions, chewing on his bottom lip as he stares at me.

"Well," I start. "The girl's kind of crazy, so I don't really think I believe that she knows what she's talking about."

"But what if she's right?" Liam pushes, running his hands through his hair and letting his eyes fall shut.

"Liam, love, what exactly are you asking me?" I ask, confused.

"What if she's right? What if I am the one who got you pregnant? Are you okay with that or were you hoping it would have been one of the other boys?"

"Are you serious?" I ask, aching to sit up, but not wanting to disturb the still sleeping Madelyn. I move one hand to lift his chin up, forcing him to maintain eye contact with me. "Why in the hell would I not be okay with that, Liam? I love you. I don't think I say it enough, but I do. I love all of you guys. I'm fine with whoever it is that's the father of Maddy, because I love all of you guys. If it's Niall, great. If it's you, great. Whoever it is, great, because I'm going to have each of your kids anyways."

"Oh, really?" Liam says, letting out a laugh.

"Really." I nod, grinning at him.
