Dear Harry,

Do you remember the trip to the Baroda Museum?

Neither of us were interested at all, so we snuck out of the group and roamed around on the streets? It was there that you saw a group of boys playing cricket. They saw us and gladly invited you to play but told me that girls cannot play. You didn't want to play after that but I saw the longing in your eyes. You wanted to hold the bat and hit some runs.

I sat down on the sidelines, cheering every run. That's Simran's job now.

My boss said that I had a lot of holidays piled up, I could take a month long leave of absence if I wanted to. Maybe I'll go somewhere on a holiday.

But, what if you called?

You'll always be my best friend.

Love,
Mona.
