Chapter one: Photobomber

I had just gotten out of school. The second that the school bell rang, marking the end of my school year, I practically ran out the doors. I was one of the first people out of the school, so I could enjoy my little bit of silence before the doors are ripped off of their hinges by shrieking children! I start walking home. The sun beats down on me, I take off my black sweater and wrap it around my waist. This reveals my dark blood red t with a Panic! At the Disco logo on it. I fucking loved this shirt. I wore black cut off, ripped jeans. Pulling up my music on my phone, and putting my earbuds in, I listened so my "emo" music. I hoped on my skateboard, and started on my way home. I decided since I had a few extra dollars that I would stop by the bakery, and get a cookie, celebrating the end of hell (school). I wish Koto was here with me to walk home with me, but she got out of school early, on a summer vacation with her family. Lucky bitch. I picked up my skateboard and dragged it into the bakery with me when I saw a flash. Startled I looked up to see a perso- no. A skeleton. It... he? He wore a vest over a red turtle neck. A what looked like dog collar wrapped around his neck. A long gold chain hung around his.... neck, with a metal star pendant at the end of it. His eyes.... or rather eye sockets were red, and the other completely black. His hooded vest had a tan fluff around it that spiked out in different directions. He held a camera in his hand. It took me a second to realize I had gotten in the way of his shot. I nervously walked up to him. Fiddling with the choker that I had at my neck. For a skeleton he was extremely hot. Wait.... what.... he. Is. A. Fucking. Skeleton. What the hell. Reality came back to me.
"Uhhhh... sorry. I uh didn't mean to get in your shot like that." I stuttered. My face suddenly getting verrrry hot. I played with my tail at my side nervously.
"The only problem with shot is I only captured half your beauty in it~" he said flirtingly . My face turned even redder than the skeletons eye color. I sat their awkwardly for a moment until he finally says "Hey kitten, my name's Echofell Sans, but you can call me G sweetheart.~" I processed what was happening for a minute before mumbling "uh yeah. Right. I'm Raven." I stumble over my words for a while, I have been avoiding direct eye contact by fiddling with my tail, or looking at my shoes. He brings his boney hand up to my chin forcing me to look at him in the "eyes". I shiver under his gaze and my eyes widen considering he is a few feet taller than me. I feel short. Very short. "You know. You'd look much more beautiful if I could see you at eye level sugar." After he said that I felt a strange warm aura lifting me up. I looked down and saw that my feet were off of the ground. My heart rate picks up and I start to panic when I see G at my eye level. My heart rate slows down to my normal rate and we sit their. Staring into each-others eyes something about it calms me. I was slowly set down again. When he tried to slip his arm around my waist. I, knowing that my parents would be bitching about me being late, slide away from his grasp and say to him as I walk out of the bakery
"gotta try harder than that Skeliboy" I got on my skateboard and rolled away, not looking back, conscious that he was watching me as I rolled around away from his eyesight.

I arrived home. Did my chores around the house and the barn, and sat down to relax on my bed. I pulled my sketchbook out, and started doodling randomly. My mind went to different places. How can someone, or something, be so hot and attractive for a literal corpse.
Seeing as my brain is elsewhere, I give up on drawing and pick up my phone to text my best friend, Koto. She is also a neko like me. (R is me in the texts and K is Koto)
R- Hey dipshit
K- Hey Faggot
R- Sooooo.... how's your vacation so far?
K- meh. It's fun, but it would be better is the asshole brothers would stop their bullshit whining. How's the first day of summer break?
R- ummm.... kinda weird tbh
K- WHY?!?!? Tell me.
R- okay Jesus, calm it I will.
K- continue....
R- well. I met someone. And he was not exactly a.... human..... but rather.... a skeleton....
K- I thought I told you to quite smoking heroin.
R- I'm serious right now Koto
K- yeah. Whatever. Dork.
R- IM NOT KIDDING!!!!!
K- okay. Then I believe you..... I gotta go. We are about to go swimming.
R- k bye.
This day has worn me out. I turn off my phone and set it on my nightstand. Even though it is only nine, and I usually stay up much later, I turn off my lamp, and turn up in a ball, falling asleep.
