Another Friday night in the city. Lee sanghyuk, or dawon as the club's knew him, walked into his first club in about a year.
"Dawon! What the fuck man?! Where have you been?!" Gunhee called him over to sit.
"Just busy...here and there" dawon gave a short answer. Thinking about the times he used to come here every week. The memory of why he stopped flashed in his mind.
Sohye called dawon for the fourth time that night. She saw his Snapchat story. She heard about her ex wanting to fight him tonight. She knew what would happen. She was scared, frightened. She knew what her ex could do to dawon. She had experienced it for herself.
Her unsupportive friends just told her to leave it be. It's not like her and dawon were close or anything, they were just seat buddies.

Sohye's friends said that dawon was a bad boy, and that he can handle himself.Sohye was about to give up when the phone call was answered.
"Sohye.."
"Dawon! Where are you!?"
She could tell her ex had already been done with him by the sound of his voice."No where. Don't worry about it"
The line was cut and all sohye could do was stare at her screen.
Meanwhile dawon couldn't handle the pain. It's okay for boys to feel pain right? Especially when youngbin, one of the strongest guys in school had beat you up....right? Dawon finally gave and after thinking about if for 5 minutes. He sent sohye his location.
Sohye had got the text and sprinted out of her friends house. Ignoring the questions they yelled at her she slipped on her shoes and ran to her car. Immediately putting in her GPS and starting off the location.
Once she got there she slipped out of the car and looked around. Neon lights and loud music. She saw a boy slouched up against a brick wall. It was dawon. His clothes were torn and his hair was a mess. He had cuts and bruises everywhere.
Sohye ran into his arms and hugged him. He was shocked and pushed her out of the hug. He felt embarssed in front of her. But when he saw the tears in her eyes he smiled and told her he was alright. She helped him walk to her car and drove him to her house.
When they got there she took him to the bathroom to clean his face. He didn't say much because he was tired. He sat on the sink and closed his eyes as she cleaned his cuts. It stung so bad but he would only scrunch his eyebrows each time she pressed the cotton ball on his cuts.
She couldn't help but feel sorry and that this was all her fault. Her ex was the one who beat dawon up. She felt she was the one who was supposed to clean him up.
As sohye was finishing up dawons head fell on her shoulder. He had fallen asleep while she finished up.
"Dawon...wake up" he jumped up and looked into her eyes. He realized that he fell asleep. Dawon jumped off the counter and walked out of the bathroom.
Sohye walked to her her brothers room and grabbed some sweats for dawon to change into. She walked out and handed them to him and waited outside.
While sohye waited for him dawon started to change. Right as the boy was about to pull his shirt over his head he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He looked at his busted lip and the cut near his eyebrows. He has a bruised up cheek too. He signed finishing up and walked out and sat on sohyes couch right next to next to her.
"I'm really sorry dawon...i didn't know he would do that."
"Well he did..." dawon got up and left. Sohye sat there watching him
As much as she wanted to chase after him, she was scared. Scared that youngbin would kill him if he found out she helped him.Dawon looked around the old place he used to hang out with and cringed. He watched his old friends as they fucked around with girls. He too used to be like that. It was different watching it. He felt sick. Sohye would be so mad at him for coming here a month ago. But that doesn't matter now. He had lost sohye. And she wasn't planning on coming back to him.
