I'm so sorry I haven't up dated in a while. I had major writers block and I still do! So for the next chapter I would love suggestions! Chapter 9

MAY'S POV

The Garden was so nice out side. I loved how the sent of the roses carried on the wind.

"It's nice out side. Do you think?" A smooth voice came from behind me

"Oh! hello Drew" I turned around ending up face to face with him

"What are you doing out her?" I asked
trying to break the silence

"I need to get some fresh air. I bid you the same question."

"I came out here to see the roses. They remind me of home" I replied brushing my hand on one of the petals

"I like them to. They're beautiful things but can stab you back"

"I've never heard you talk so civilized to me before"

"Why? Do you want me to stop?"

"No! Sorry I mean no. I just like you better this way"

His eyebrow went up in a questioning look. I really need to learn how to do that!

"Don't get me the wrong! I don't mean in that way!" I exclaimed jumping up from the bench I was sitting on

"Whatever you say" He chuckled walking away

His laugh was cute. What! Did I just think Drew was Cute! I'm on a mission for dad! May snap out of it!
I slapped my self across the face.

I walked into to dance room after collecting my self.
Someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around to see who did.

"Hello I'm Brendan. You look so beautiful. I was wondering if I could have this dance" He said
He was dressed up as a Knight.
He smiled at me taking me to the dance floor.
It was a slow song.

"So how's your night?" I asked him

"It's great now that I'm dancing with the girl that caught my eye"

"That's really nice of you"

"Well it's the truth. I was wondering if you would go out with me sometime" He asked in a nervous way
It was so cute how nervous he was.

Well since he's not my mission why not? I mean all the other girls get to fool off. So why can't I?

"I would love to" He sighed in relief
I couldn't help but giggle.

"What's so funny?" He asked

"Your just cute when your nervous"

"Why wouldn't I be. I'm around the most beautiful woman in this school"

"Your really nice for a guy I just met"

He spun me around. I caught a glimpse of Drew. He look a bit sad and green with envy. I wonder why.
I danced with Brendan for the rest of the night.

He was such a gentle man. He made me smile all night. I also meet his friends Red, Barry and Rudy. They were all so kind. Better than a group I know.

Sadly the fun had to end. Me and my friends when home in the boys car's.

"So Leaf how did you like to night.?" I asked her thinking about my wonderful night.

"It was nice" She said blankly said as if she was lost in her own world
Her eyes looked a bit sad. I wonder why.

I looked around the car. Drew had the same expression on his face when I saw him when I was dancing with Brendan. Gary looked lost in his own world like Leaf. So I just stayed quiet the rest of the way to our house.
I wonder what happen to everyone last night........
