Ursula with aqua hair
with devil-may-care mannerism
munches muesli – granola, actually –
dolloped with yoghurt,
drizzled with honey,
studded with fruit.
No Lake Louise or Tekapo*
ever sported that Oh!-making hue,
that My Little Pony shock of lock,
that wonderful turquoise flop of mop.
Ursula with aqua hair
opts to wear her PJs home –
kittenish-grey striped cotton bottoms,
muted-green t-shirt, garish-pink motif-ed.
Not to be impish, not to be pose-ish,
not to be Puckish or precocious
but because it suits her to be so
and that's as it should be, doncha know.

*Tekapo is one of the most beautiful lakes I've had the pleasure to visit. It can be found on the South Island of New Zealand.
*Lake Louise is an equally stunning, must see lake in Canada.
