To Icarus,
Of wings of wax,
Who flew from Crete to Death,
Who crashed beneath the peaks of waves,
Who sunk beneath the ocean's wrath,
To Icarus,
Of Minos wrath,
Whose father gave a golden string,
Whose flight ended before land,
Who tried to touch the golden band,
To Icarus,
Of Athen's blood,
Who soared too high,
Who almost touched the sky,
Who risked all to fly.
