Chara x Reader (no gender specifics)

Training

You groaned quietly as you still didn't quite have your voice back yet as Chara shook you awake. Physically and mentally you were exhausted. You simply put your face into your pillow and tried to get back to sleep. Suddenly you heard a loud smack and felt pain coming from your rear end. You jump up with a red face and glare at Chara who simply smiles and kisses you.

Chara- come on baby it's training day!!!

You whimper and just pull them in bed with you and cuddle up to them sighing happily. They roll their eyes and gently pet your head.

Chara- okay okay...maybe just a few more minutes...

You however are already passed out again. Chara chuckles and keeps petting you.

(TIMESKIP)

You yawn and start to wake up. You rub the sleepiness out of your eyes and look around. You notice that you are no longer in bed but you are...OUTSIDE?!?!?!?

(Y/N)-(in thoughts because your voice is still gone) OH HOLY SHIT IM SO FUCKING DEAD IM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE OUT HERE OMG I DONT WANT TO BE PUNISHED FUUUUUUUUCK MEEEEEEEEE WHERE AM I???? WHERES THE HOUSE??? NOOOOO!!!!!

Suddenly the world around you goes black. A small (S/C) (soul color) heart comes out of your body. You look around and notice a weird looking bird with a snowflake shaped head. Some text appears in boxes saying FIGHT, ITEM, ACT, and MERCY. You see a small green bar that has the heart next to it with HP (20/20) above it. You start shaking and realize that you've gotten yourself into a fight with a monster. You hesitantly pull out your pocket knife and prepare to attack. Suddenly your soul is surrounded in a white box as snowflakes drop down, not knowing what to do you touch one and then clutch your chest, your HP drops some. You dodge the rest of the attacks rather easily however. You hover over the fight option but then change your mind and choose MERCY. Another text box appears with the word SNOWDRAKE in it. You figure that this is what the bird is called. You choose that and then the snowdrake says something and attacks again. You dodge everything and choose act. You talk with snowdrake and befriend it. You choose MERCY again and choose the yellow snowdrake option. New text appears "You escaped LV Gained- 0 gold gained-0. The world comes back into color as the snowdrake walks away. You fall down and are breathing hard.

(Y/N)- w...what...was that..

You put your knife away and cry a little at the pain that is still in your chest. Chara comes out of nowhere and stuffs some weird pie in your mouth. It tastes like cinnamon with a hint of butterscotch. You savor the taste and the pain is gone. Suddenly the green bar fills up again. Chara picks you up looking somewhat angry. You whimper.

(Y/N)- Chara...I'm sorry...I don't even know how I got out there...and then the bird appeared and...I'm sorry...i promise to not ever leave the house again...

Chara sighs.

Chara- baby just be quiet.

The way they say this makes you shut your mouth and tears come to your eyes. You hide in your sweater and cry silently. A few minutes later Chara drops you roughly onto the couch of your home. You whimper and curl up in a ball awaiting punishment.

Frisk- CHARA!! What the hell are you doing??? They did nothing wrong!!! The training went well!!!

Chara- (in demon voice) NO!!! It dId NOt gO WeLL!!! THEy SHoUlD HAve KIlleD It!!!

You whimper and start to sob. Chara smacks you across the face hard. You yelp and sob harder as your HP drops some. Frisk gasps and picks you up. You hide in frisks chest as you continue to sob. Chara let's out an audible growl. So does Frisk.

Frisk- what the hell Chara!!! How can you just do that??? They didn't even do anything!

Chara just shakes their head.

Chara- THATS THE PROBLEM!!! They needed to learn to FIGHT not show MERCY.

Frisk sighs.

Frisk- nothing is wrong with what they did, they did what they thought was right, just calm down.

Chara takes a breath and relaxes.

Chara- okay...okay I'm calm...you are right...I'm really sorry baby...I know I must've scared you...

You whimper and continue to cling to frisk still scared. You look at them terrified. They sigh and reach for you. You flinch and close your eyes expecting a blow to come, but it never does. You feel a hand softly caress your cheek. You realize it's Chara and even with everything that just happened you nuzzle into it and hold it there loving the fact that they are touching your face. They smile and let out a chuckle. They pull you close and you hug them tightly.

Chara- do you forgive me?

You instantly nod yes and cuddle into them. They smile and kiss you softly.

Chara- okay love...I guess no more training since you are already sooooo good at it

You blush and giggle.

(Y/N)- thanks...I love you both...

Chara/Frisk- I love you too!!
