The Forever Life

          It was almost time for the Annual Cheer Competition. My cheer team and I were going to try and win first place this year. Something terrible happened during this time, but I will not tell you what that is until later.

         "Okay girls, we need to make sure we try our hardest and come out in first. We will have three different routines that we have to learn, but we only have about two weeks. Until the Annual Cheer Competition, we will have practice every day." I say.

          You may not know this about me, but I am the captain of the cheer team at Clearveiw High. Me, Anica, Veronica, Jessie, Catlynn, Missy, and Maddie are the members of the cheer squad. Adam is my boyfriend and the captain of the football team. His friends, Brian, Josh, Andrew, and Zack are also on the football team. I know most of the time the head cheerleader and the captain of the football team are dating, well that is true in my life. Anica is my best friend.

          Two days before the Annual Cheer Competition I was at cheer practice with the team. We were talking about how we were going to get to the competition. Catlynn said that her mom could drive us, but then I realized that would take to long. The competition is in New York and we live in California. That is when it hit me. We could use all of our money together and buy plane tickets so we could fly to the competition. I told the girls about my idea and they all thought it was a great idea. I thought it was a great idea too, until what actually happened on the way back.

          The next day we drove to the airport, bought our tickets, and boarded the plane. The flight attendant went on for about thirty minutes telling us about how we would be making a bunch of stops. She also told us about where the bathrooms were and that if we needed anything to use the walkie-talkies that were installed on the back of the seat in front of us. After she finished telling us all of that, the pilot said, over the intercom, that we would be leaving the airport in fifteen minutes.

          After we take off, we stop in Colorado, Oaklahoma, Illinois, and Ohio. It was such a long flight that I had to get up and go to the bathroom seventeen times! Yes, that is probably a little weird that I counted, but that was about the only thing ( besides my phone ) that would keep me entertained.

          After we land, me and the girls rent a car. We drive to hotel and the first ting we do, after we buy our room, is go to sleep.We needed a lot of rest because the Annual Cheer Competition was the next day.

          The next day we get ready, drive to the competition, and compete. Since we had three routines, we performed fifth, twelfth, and twenty-third. As you can tell, there were a lot of groups competing. After every group performed, the judges announced the winners. Since there were so many groups that performed, the judges decided to pick the top three and give the other groups a participant ribbon. the top three groups were us a group from Washington, and a group from Florida. Out of the three groups, we got second place!!!!
