01. A place to stay

HEY GUYS! This is my first book ever. It would help if you could give me some positive feedback and some suggestions. I hope you guys enjoy this first chapter:)

Kate's P.O.V
  I just woke up. I was so tired, I had to take a nap. I hope Sam is not mad at me for not helping them clear the space. We are currently living in a small cottage in a village. The people here are so nice! They offered us to stay here for a while if we help them with their crops!
We are running out of money from our parents... I miss them sometimes, but Sam and John have been taking good care of me!
  *Someone knocks on the door*
  John-"Hey Kate! Are you okay?"
  "Yeah, so much better! What are you guys doing? Is Sam mad?"
  John-"He was a little annoyed, but he'll get over it.. *he rolls his eyes and giggles* Can you come down to help us make some dinner?"
  "Sure.. Let me change and I'll come!"
  John-"Alright, see you then..."

Sam's P.O.V
  What is she taking so long?? I might have to take care of her and protect her, but she's not 5 years old anymore to take naps like that during the freaking middle of the day!
  *Johnathan comes down the stairs*
  "Hey dude! What was she doing?"
  John-"She's changing.. she should be here in a minute or two."
  "Okay. What would you guys like to eat.. I prepared the fire and everything, you guys choose!"
  John-"I think I'm just hungry for some steak..If it's okay with you?"
  *Kate comes down the stairs after 3 minutes*
    I see that John got a little nervous when he saw her, I'm wondering why.
   Wow, she's beautiful, just like me! *I smile* She deserves to be my sister!
    She is wearing a white long dress, with petal design. I decided to stop thinking so much about what just happened with John and speak some words.
  "Finally! *I scream happily* John said he wants steak, you okay with that?"
   Kate-"Sure, I'm starving guys! Let's get cooking!"

  We eat and then wonder around the little village. It's very pretty around here, but I know we can't stay for long. We are all too tired to do the things they put us to do and I still want to fullfill my dream. That kingdom will be built, it's hard I know that, but our parents would be proud of us in the end. We have to work hard!

THERE YOU GO GUYS! I know it's a little all over the place, but I had the idea for this book for a while now, but never got the chance to write it. Anyways, I'm on vacation rn, but I'll write as much as possible!
   A little info about me:
- romanian(so, if there are any grammatical mistakes, please announce me and forgive me)
- I dislike reading, but I like writing xD
- I love video games and music
