Katie Severide was missing.
She's been missing since a couple nights ago.
No one knows where she was or what happened.
Kelly Severide was hurting badly.
He loved his sister to death.
Otis had just begun dating Katie.
He wondered if it was his fault.

"Look, we're looking for her. We're trying our best. I don't know what else to say." Detective Lindsay said.
Severide was a mess.
He knew who took her and was gonna get revenge.
But he obviously couldn't let her know.
"I just want her back. It's been a week and shes still missing." Severide said.
He was desperate for her return.
"I know. We will keep looking. We won't give up." She said.

That was two weeks ago.
She was still missing.
"I don't know how much longer I can sit here and just not go find her. It's been two fucking weeks." Severide said.
"I think you should let Detective Lindsay do her job. You butting in is gonna make things 10x worse." Matt Casey Responded.
They were hanging out at the fire station having lunch.
"He's right. You're just asking for trouble." Dawson responded.
"You guys don't understand. Shes my fucking sister." Severide said close to tears.
"We do understand but none of us feel like seeing you in jail because you couldn't leave the situation alone." Dawson said.
"I'd rather go to jail than have Katie be dead." Severide said before leaving.

It was past midnight and Severide was nowhere to be found.
"Where did he go?" Shay asked aloud.
"Probably ignored our warnings and went to find Katie." Matt Casey responded.
"Well, in a way it makes sense. If it happened to any of us, someone would be looking." Shay responded.
"Guess you have a point, just don't want to see him hurt or in trouble." Casey said.
"Neither do I but theres nothing we can do. He won't answer his phone." Shay said.

It was sometime later in the morning when Severide came back.
"Where were you?" Everyone seemed to ask at once.
"Out." He responded before heading into the locker room.
"You do realize if you went and tried to find the guy, Lindsay will be on your ass." Casey said following him.
Detective Linsday had came to the firehouse a few days ago and she told them she knew who did it but had no idea where he was.
He went by Keeler.
He had some other guys involved.
It wasn't just him anymore.
"I don't care. I just want my sister back." Severide responded.
"Linsday will find her. Just try to calm down." Casey said before walking away.

KATIE SEVERIDE POV:
I wonder if this is what it felt like to die.
Laying in the darkness not knowing if you're actually awake or not.
Just waiting for the pain to finally go away.
Hoping just hoping, i'll make it out alive.
"You're a fucking bitch. I should let you die." I heard him say as he entered the room.
I never got a good luck at who he was.
He was just a dirtbag that loved to treat women like shit.
I've been here for the past month.
Every day I've been starved and beaten.
Same old shit, different day.
I was really hoping my brother could come get me out.
I couldn't deal with this much longer.
I heard three voices suddenly.
It wasn't just Keeler, it was Severide and Casey.
"I know shes in here assclown. Don't lie to me." I heard him yell out.
The door opened and in ran Severide.
"Thank god you're alive. Come on, lets get you out of here." Severide said tears running down his face.
I was saved.
My brother saved me.
