Different
I'm so tired of hearing "I'm different" or " she/he is different."
It's a lie.
No one is different.
Everyone is exactly the same.
Everyone lies to get what they want.
Everyone is willing to do whatever it takes to make themselves happy.
Everyone is selfish.
People will sit there and listen to you tell your story of pain and betrayal but then turn around and do the exact same thing they promised not to.
No one is there for you.
Be there for yourself.
A/N: Hi, this is my first time posting and I hope you enjoyed the poem. This poem comes from my heart, that being said this was purely a vent and I'm sure there are actually people out there who stand by their word.
