Sure a ton of other regions teased us and called us the Eevee region but we never complained because well were proud. By the time I was done thinking about this Eevee had squeaked, telling me we had arrived. Opening up the door I was soon greeted by the professor. "You must be Laklynn?" She had asked her hair waving ever so slightly. "Yes, i'm here to get my pokedex. Also this is my pokemon Eve!" Eve squeaked as you said her name.
"Ah, I've been expecting you." Professor Acacia replied with a smile. "Anyway here is your pokedex!" Professor Acacia hands you a device. A PokeDex! Eevee had already been registered. "Never lose it because it also has your trainer I.D. I'll see you around Laklynn." She had said with a smile when you and Eve walked out the door.
Distracted by your thoughts to beat the champion you fell to the ground with a thud. You had been walking to pick up some pokeballs and maybe a potion or two. "Uhh, I'm so sorry!" You said as awkwardly as possible. You saw a boy with midnight black hair, brown-ish eyes and a goofy grin, and what an adorable Pikachu he had. You sat in a criss cross form so Eve could sit in your lap. "No honestly it was my fault. Anyway my names Ash Ketchum and this is my partner, Pikachu." The boy named Ash said. "Well my name's Laklynn and this is my partner and best friend Eve." You said kindly.
"Woah a shiny eevee, how'd you get it?" "Well to make a long story short when my dad left me at my birth his gift to me was a shiny eevee." "Well, Eve, Laklynn would you like to join me and my partner in a journey across the region?!" "Sure why not?" You said with a smile as he helped you up.
Eve's POV
Since I had a feeling Pikachu would be around for a while I decided to talk to him a little.
"Hey, I'm Eve." "Pikachu, is my name." "Wanna be friends?" "Sure!" Pikachu replied happily.
