Do great things,
Help others,
Make a difference.
That's what they say.A chosen few,
Can truly do that. The rest of us,
Boringly ordinary,
Watch in awe.As our predecessors,
Do the things,
We're told to do.But how many people,
Can honestly say,
They've bettered the world?
That they've made a difference?Even those who tell us to,
Are never quite who they wanted to be.
They never turn out the superhero they wish they were,
The impactful presence they'd dreamed they'd be.Always strive to do your best.
Chase your dreams.
Work for what you want.
Make a difference. If you want to.
But people change,
And dreams change,
As do hopes and prayers. If that's not what you want,
That's okay.
If you'd rather settle down,
That's okay. You are not required to do anything. Ever.
Bigger is not always better.
You don't have to be the superhero.
You are not less worthy because your dream has changed.
'Even if you never get around to doing some remarkable thing, that doesn't mean that you're not worth remembering.'
