for us being pretty early there sure were a looottt of people there already. The venue had tons of girls all over the place all talking about whatever.

some people went all out wearing every single piece of merch available and waving huge pictures of their bias, some people were parents wishing they weren't there. same.

All three of them found their places in the venue and waited for the concert to start

The concert was...okay. Arin didn't particularly enjoy it as much as jessica did but she didn't hate it either she still kinda had fun.

"I CANT BREATE THAT WAS SO GREAT DID YOU SEE VERNON LIKE WOW HELP ME HE'S ACTUALLY REAL LIKE WHAT"

"rip jessica. but seriously calm down oh my god"

"HOW ARE YOU CALM RIGHT NOW THAT
L I T T E R A L L Y  JUST HAPPENED AH"

arin zoned out of the conversation and looked through the videos and pictures she took to see if any came out good. By the time she looked up jessica and skyler were gone. how?!? i looked down for like 2 minutes what?!?

the only thing arin overheard was something about this guy wonwoo and bam! they disappeared! way to ditch me guys jeez

arin decided the best thing was just to go to the nearest diner and wait for them there, she would text them where she was going anyhow

the nearest diner was an old rundown place called...crustee's ? how appetizing wow

she didn't necessarily want anything to eat she just wanted to sit down and escape the high pitched screams of thousands of girls

arin sat down at the furthest booth away from everyone and pulled out her phone along with her headphones

the diner was quiet, and small. It was a pretty relaxing place maybe she would return soon and actually order something i dont know

she remembered she was going to text her friends about where she was so she pulled out her phone again

mid sentence she felt a tap on her arm and jumped making her earbuds fall out

"oh, sorry i didnt mean to scare you"

arin raised an eyebrow at the strange boy sitting across from her. She obviously didn't want to talk to him but she wasn't going to hurt his feelings

"uh- you just- looked lonely back here i thought maybe you'd want some company or something but it's ok i can just leave i dont want to bother you i can be kinda weird sometimes it's not you fault for thinking im weird-" he nervously laughed and stood up to leave

arin grabbed his arm to tell him she wanted him to stay. She had no idea why she did it but this kid talked a lot, it was cute and she wanted him to stay

"s-stay" arin stuttered out

the boy sat back down
"Oh so she does talk?" he said with a big smile

arin just shrugged, she started to regret keeping this boy here.

what am i doing right now

"you sure are a quiet one"

this boys smile will be the death of me im just saying this right now

"s-s-speech probl-lems" she looked down at her hands avoiding eye contact

way to ruin this he's most likely gonna leave now realizing there won't be much conversation

"im sorry i didn't mean for you to get sad about it or anything, we can talk about something else"

arin's eyes widened lightly. The boy was confused thinking he said something wrong

"s-sorry just n-no oness r-eally k-kept talking to m-me a-after i-i-i-"

"it's okay I understand you dont have to talk anymore just nod or something alright?"

he understands

"hey by the way my names jun. I come here pretty often i love this place honestly it's like a second home. wait, that was cheesy, having a diner as your second home sounds lame oh gosh why di-"

arin couldn't help but laugh at how talkative jun seemed to be. He appeared to be pretty nervous which made him even more adorable?

jun was staring. He wasn't expecting such a cute laugh. It made him feel warm inside and he wanted to hear it everyday

"hey do me a favor?" arin nodded

"laugh like that more often. A smile looks good on you seriously."

arin smiled looking down and couldnt stop blushing. No one's really complimented her like that before, she liked the feeling.
Jun just kept smiling he couldnt help it

"im gonna go grab some cherry cola. Ever tried it?" arin shook her head no

"really? i get it everytime it's the best! you have to try it come on!"

"O-ok i guess"

"awesome!! trust me you'll love it, i'll be right back"

Arin just smiled sweetly at him

sure enough he came back with two cups of cherry cola. arin took one and tried a sip of it. it was so delicious and she wasted no time drinking more

"hey, hey slow down" again he smiled that stupid deadly smile

"i know, im the best no need to thank me" he boasted sitting up taller and acting royalty-like

arin couldn't help but roll her eyes, this boy was too good

"so i was thinking. maybe i can help you with your speech problem? im not the best teacher but i can do my best. it's just a suggestion so dont feel forced to agree or anything"

by now arin stopped sipping her cherry cola and gave jun her full attention

was he serious? this boy wanted to help? he wanted to try? i see no point. a lot of people have "tried" and news flash im still that stuttering loser

arin shook her head

"awww c'mon lemme at least try. i want to help you get over this. just give me a chance? we can meet up here everyday and i will treat you to a cherry cola and work on your speech how does that sound?"

well damn how could you say no to a free cherry cola everyday?

"f-fine y-ou got yourself a d-d-deal"

this made him crack a stupid smile once again to melt my stupid heart  "thank you- ah- what was your name again?"

"arin"

"thank you arin, i will try my hardest! trust me you got the best teacher ever no lie!"

she playfully hit his arm and did that laugh he seemed to love so much. what? he asked for it

"so can i have your number? just so i can text you and make sure you dont bail on me ya know? gotta make sure your'e all okay"

too. cute.

arin wrote out her number on a napkin and handed it to him shyly.

"thanks arin!! i gotta go but text me sometime okay?"

"n-no problem junnie, c-can i c-c-call you junnie?" avoiding eye contact seemed pretty reasonable lately

"you know what? i'd like that a lot, dont forget to text me ok? bye arin!"

"bye joonie!!"

and with that they both parted ways. Arin still had to find her so called "friends" after all
