Now we stand in silence as we stare at Connor's battered body.

"So what are we gonna do bout him?" Mr. Rivers broke the silence.

"... leave him?"

He chuckles. And mind you not its sexy.

"I can do that" He states and looks back down to me.

We laugh a bit and I start to walk towards the door.

"Nicolai."

"Hmm?" I turn back around.

"Call me Nicolai. Since I do believe that you only know my last." He says now holding the door for me.

"Right. Ashila, call me Ashila." I say as walk through and into the loud night club.

"Well Ashila, how bout a drink?"

We walk back inside the club and to the bar, Nicolai in front of me.

Which lets me look at his broad figure. Then that same question pops back into my mind, what is he doing here at a club at 1 in the morning?

"Nicolai? Can I ask you a question?" I speak as he turns my way.

"I believe you just have?" He smirks, I roll my eyes.

"Yes go ahead" he says chuckling, motioning me to go on.

I scoff "What are you doing here? At the club I mean"

He quirks his left brow upwards. "Oh. You don't know?"

"Know what, exactly?" I question.

"That I own this place." He laughs. His laugh is so cheerful, with the way his eyes crease in the outer corners.

"You do?" I ask. Then it struck me he's a damn CEO.

"Well I do own the Rivers Inc. now."

"Right, sorry" I say as I look down at the counter just in time for the bartender to come our way.

"Hey big boss. What can I get you both?" He says with a bright smile.

He looks over at me, "Uh two whiskeys"

I look back over at him. Since when did I need someone to order for myself?

Then I look at the bartender as he nods and gets the two drinks.

"Whiskey okay?" He says looking at me.

"Yeah, I dont mind it" I honestly reply.

"So." He starts off looking at me seriously.

"Do you want to talk about what happened back there?"

I look up at him feeling the slight familiar sting in the back of my eyes.
"Uh, not much"

He sighs, "Well then at least give me this, who was that."

God, where was San when I needed to get away?

"Why do you want to know this.."

"I would like to know more about someone who will be working by my side"

I jerk my head up quickly, I got the job?

"I-"

"Yes you got the job" he says interrupting me.

Wow.. I have a job.
But do I want to share my time of day with this man?
