We all know how vital music can be to driving the emotion of a story. Think of your favorite film and think of what your favorite action scene would be like without the music, would Psycho be as terrifying without those violins or would that kiss be as moving without the soulful sounds of the song softy playing behind the scene.
Perhaps you use music to inspire you. You listen to the words and a story suddenly starts to build in your mind.
The CHALLENGE: We challenge you to tell us if you listen to music while you write. What kind of music and why? Or perhaps list some of your favorite songs that help motivate and inspire you? Then we ask that you find a song and create a story based on that song.
