Jane and I just came back from despising of are lunch scraps in the forest. when we walked back into the throne room I smelt a smell unlike any other I have ever smelled, it made me feel a weird sensation like protective maybe? I ruffled my eyebrows together trying to figure out the feeling and the smell.

"Alec? what is wrong brother?" Jane asked when she saw my consternation. Aro  turned his head to look at us.

" I do not know sister." I said back. by the look on Aro's face he was interested in what I was saying

"Alec, come over here" he said gesturing for me. I walk over to him.

"yes master?" I asked

"give me your hand"he said ,I handed it to him, and watched at he read all my thoughts. "Alec this is great! Alec you have found your mate!"  he said smiling.

"what?" I asked confused

"you have found your mate, your perfect match" he clapped his hand "we must prepare a wedding at once!" he said excitedly

"what? a wedding but I have not even met her."I say. Aro sighed

" yes yes of course, Felix go get are bride to be from the dungeons." he said

"Dungeons, wedding, mate. Aro what's going on?"I asked. shaking my head.

"oh young Alec you have finally found the person that will give you a fullness to your second life. the dungeons? well that will explain there self,  and the wedding well we are sticklers for old customs we will have you a Wedding before sunrise." just as he stoped talking Felix and Demetry brought in a human, as I turned around to look at her I start feeling very protective. when I layed eyes on her she was a tiny little human girl shaking uncontrollably with her eyes trained on the ground. "ah and here she is, the bride to be" Aro said as I was froze looking at her in all her amazing and incomprehensible beauty. Aro looked at me smiling. "well you don't have to just stand there."he said waving me forward. I speed over to her and gently brushed some stray hairs out of her face. Demetry and Felix released her arms as I grabbed her waste. she tries to pull away from me, but her strength is pitiful compared to mine. she eventually gave up and I moved so that I stood behind her my arms around her waste, and my head in the crook of her neck. she became stiff as a board as I sniffed in her lovely sent.

"you smell so good," I whispered into her ear "absolutely appetizing"  she took in a sharp breath and it hitched in her throat.

"Laurel your choses is going to be a harder decided now. and Alec it is now your decision too." Aro said folding his hands together. Laurel what a lovely name.

"what decision?" I asked holding Laurel tighter to me.

"we offered her the option to stay here with us or leave. the same thing we offer everyone that joins us." then it all make sense, she has been chosen to be changed in to a vampire. Aro mush think she is really special, well I know she is special to me, but why is Aro so interested in her?

"Aro what's your interest?" I asked nodding towards Laurel.

"I guess you deserve to know." he said standing up and walking towards us. I wrapped my arms as tight as I could around Laurels waist with out hurting her. "she has a gift, for manipulating humans minds and for a quick understand about what make a human, what do you call it? oh yes What makes humans tic."he said reaching towards her "Alec my I" he asked I loosened my grip a little, and with one hand grabbed her wrist pulling it forward even with her silent protests, and placing it in Aro's. after standing there reading her mind he let go and she let her hand drop.
