You lived in an apartment building, you never really cared about the other people that lived next to you. Sure, some of the neighbors were a little loud, but you were able to block them out with some music. Edd, one of your neighbors was actually quite friendly. You enjoyed his company and got quite close to him. Usually, he came to your house to blow off steam. Apparently he usually had to take care of Matt, Tord, and Tom. He explained that Matt always tried sneaking out, which isn't good for him. He's socially awkward, and sometimes he would collapse. Tord was mostly easy to take care of, he prefered to be alone. Tom would always sneak out with Matt, then they would go off in different directions, making it hell for Edd. You pitied him, you could barely take care of yourself.

"You know, I could help you out Edd, they're grown adults after all." You said, getting up, offering Edd your hand. He took it and pulled himself up.

"Ugh, (Y/N), you don't get it... I could use some help however, do you really think you could help?"

"Yeah, of course!" You smile, Edd holds the door open for you, as you get in his apartment, you see Edd quickly slam it closed. You see how the wood floor has scratches all over it, the couch torn apart. The kitchen door sprawled open, off its hinges and food all over the floor. Edd sighed, he locked the door and looked at you.

"Looks nice doesn't it?" He said sarcastically, taking a deep breathe. "I never shown you them..." He said softly, then he gestures you to follow him. He opens the door to a small, empty bedroom. You were a bit scared to see what would happen next. He walks in, then sits on the bed.

"Matt, come down, we have a visitor." Edd gestures you in again, suddenly, a man with orange hair and pale skin jumps down from the ceiling onto the bed. He curls up close to Matt, Edd looks at you.

"He's a vampire..." Edd trails off, playing with Matt's hair. Matt waves at you.

"Matt, this is (Y/N), be nice to her." Edd smiles. "Let me show you the rest of the gang, Matt, I'll be right back, don't go anywhere." Matt nods, and you follow him into the second apartment. He opens the door, and quickly shuts it again. You follow him again to another bedroom. A small brunette with demon horns for hair, and literal demon horns was laying on the bed, his phone in his hand. His lower body was under the sheets, but it didn't leave much for the imagination to tell what he was doing. The brunette looks up at you, "Edd, knock you-" His face turned a bright red. His eyes widened as he hid under the covers. Edd covers his eyes, along with yours. He sighs.

"This is the only reason he doesn't try to leave like the rest. His name is Tord, he's a porn-addicted demon. Let's go." Edd pulls you away, to another apartment. He did the same thing he did every time; close it tightly locking it.

"Tom is kind of more... Unpredictable. He might not be in here right now." Edd whispers.

"Tom! I got Smirnoff!" Suddenly, another brunette wearing a blue, ripped hoodie and grey pants comes running through the door. He was eyeless, total black voids.

"Where is it?" He smiles in excitement, totally ignoring you. You wave, he doesn't pay a lick of attention to you.

"Tom, this is my friend, (Y/N)," Edd smiles, Tom realizes that the alcohol was nothing more but a trick, he sighs then walks to his room. Edd whispers in your ear, You stay here with Tom, I have to make sure Matt doesn't leave the house. You nod, he leaves the room. You forgot to ask him what creature Tom was, but you guessed it didn't really matter. You sat on the couch besides him, smiling.

"So... Hey..." You say awkwardly, Tom gives you a death stare, or a normal stare. You couldn't really tell, I guess he was constantly giving one so it didn't really matter.

"Why are you here?" He says growling, looking pissed of as ever.

"I'm here to help!" You smile.

"I don't need help." He gets up, opening the door to the apartment.

"Hey wait, you can't leave!"

"Then what am I doing now?" He leaves, going down the hallway. You grab his arm, pulling him back, it didn't work though. He dragged you along. "Let. Go." He says in a deep growl. You shake your head, he starts running. You shriek, holding on tightly.

"LET GO!" He yells, shaking his arm rapidly. You refuse, "Not until you go back!"

"You're stubborn."

"So are you." You reply. He pulls you off, quite easily, you didn't realize how strong he was, or how he picked you up. You were more into holding his hand instead of staring at him. He was much bigger then when you first saw him, maybe 8 feet now. His legs were a purple galaxy shade, scales following up to his stomach. His arms were the same as his legs; sharp. Tom's horns was much more visible in this state. His teeth became sharper, the outline of his chest was more or less the same besides it being covered in scales. A tail waved back and forth. He hunched his back, then moved his legs into a more comfortable pose instead of hunching, his hands on the ground, then sprinted out the window, you quickly grabbed onto his tail, following behind him, refusing to let go.
