I remember when I was 6, dreaming of being with horses all day, waking up at 5:45 am to feed the horses, riding horses all day. Well now it's all a reality, except there's more involved then just riding, cause I'm a working student.
feeding the horses, getting horses ready, cleaning stalls, cleaning the barn, etc. I love every minute of it, most people wouldn't say the same.
Hello, my name is Aspen, I'm a Fourth level dressage rider training to be an Olympian someday, I own a PSG horse named Beyoncé, she is an 8 year old grey Oldenburg. She is quite the hassle I must admit, demanding attention, having fits while I'm riding her. Etc...
being a working student is hard, you don't get paid to much, but you have a lot of benefits, free housing, free board, getting to ride really nice horses, so I wouldn't trade it for the world.
But it makes paying the bills kinda hard.
