"Who is he?" Chanyeol asked Jongin, pointing over to where Baekhyun was quietly sat.

"No one that you need to worry about." Jongin snorted, scrunching up the piece of paper and throwing it in Baekhyun's direction.

"That wasn't particularly nice." Chanyeol frowned.

"What's it to me? He's a nerd, no one likes him." Chanyeol frowned, looking at Jongin as if he had said something completely unacceptable.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Just follow my lead, you'll fit in in no time." Jongin smirked and called Baekhyun's name. The small boy looked over and immediately turned back when he saw the two latters staring at him.

Jongin called once more, frowning when he didn't get a reaction.

He took a pen from his pencil case and threw it at Baekhyun, hitting him on the back of the head with the pointed tip of the pen lid. Baekhyun kept his head down, not daring to move a muscle, just incase.

Chanyeol chuckled in amusement, loving the way Baekhyun cowered away from Jongin's hit.

"Can I?" He asked, pointing his pen in Baekhyun's direction.

"Sure."

Chanyeol aimed the pen carefully before throwing it, full pelt, at the back of Baekhyun's head. There was a moderately loud slapping sound as the pen his the smaller's head and everyone turned around to see what had happened, only to burst out laughing when they saw Baekhyun's bright red face as well as Jongin and Chanyeol, who were still staring smugly at them.

"Byun Baekhyun, care to explain this?" The teacher asked, catching onto the commotion and asking the most obvious person involved.

Baekhyun couldn't say anything, he just continued to stare down.

"Is he mute or something?" Chanyeol asked loudly before another obnoxious round of laughter filled the room, much to the teachers distaste.

"Mr. Park, was this to do with you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about miss, I'm just a mere new student trying to fit in. I haven't done anything." Chanyeol sat back and looked innocently up at the teacher, who had moved to the spot by his desk and was now intimidatingly staring down at him.

"Okay then, well do you know who really did this then?" Chanyeol shook his head, smiling 'innocently'.

By that time, Baekhyun had looked up and stared fearfully at the two boys that were conversing with the teacher. He wanted to disappear and go to a happier place where the bullies can't find him. That place is specifically behind the Maths block.

No one knew about that area and as far as they have been told, it was sectioned off as a "no go area" for the students during social times.

The bell rang, dismissing the students before the teacher even had a chance. Everyone ran as fast as they could to get out and to the canteen, all except Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

"Can't you speak?" Chanyeol asked the latter, who was still sat in his seat, gazing out of the window, waiting for Chanyeol to actually leave. Baekhyun shook his head.

"Why not?" Chanyeol face palmed when Baekhyun didn't reply, he couldn't reply because we doesn't speak. He grabbed some paper from his bag and a pen.

"Here, write it down on here." He said, passing the equipment to the seated latter. Baekhyun wrote a quick reply and gave it back.

'Why should I tell you? You'll just bully me like earlier.'

Chanyeol sighed as he looked at the paper, its true, but he really wanted to know.

"I won't pick on you, I promise, please tell me." He begged, looking at Baekhyun with puppy-like eyes. He saw the latter sigh and begin to write, in which he waited patiently for a reply.

'I just don't like talking, it always seems to get me into more trouble. My parents told me to stop talking because my voice is annoying and so did your new "friends". I just thought that if I stopped talking then everything would be alright and I would get hurt or upset but it's still going on and I don't want it to.'

Chanyeol read the paragraph and looked up to see a puffy eyed Baekhyun with uncontrollable tears streaming down his face and onto the paper below him.

"That's so stupid."
