Chapter 3

~Sam's pov~

We walked onto the boardwalk and my excitement grew. I saw rides, arcade games and shops! "Lets go shopping first!" I squealed. We passed by a graphic printing store and I pulled them in. I saw a cute beanie that said,"San Diego❤️" "Does this look good?" I asked Matt but all of the boys answered "yes." I ended up buying the beanie, a cute tank top that says,"This girl is a beach girl!" And a bag that says "San Diego 2014." All of the boys ended up buying a beanie and some bought t-shirts. We walked out of the store and it was 7:30. It started to get dark but it was cool because everything lit up. I saw a Farris Wheel and started jumping up and down. The boys started laughing and we got in line for the Farris Wheel. I stood next to Jack G and Cameron and I talked to them until we finally got let into the carts. I noticed that Taylor was staring at us and he looked pissed off. Only 3 people were allowed in each Cart so Matt, Jack J, and Aaron got into one cart, Carter, Hayes and Cameron got into another cart, and Nash, Jack G and Shawn got into another cart. The only people left were me and Taylor and we got into the last cart.

~Taylor's pov~

I got pissed when I saw Sam laughing to one of Cameron's jokes. I made myself be the last person behind her so we could get into the same cart. I had to tell her how I felt, i needed to make her mine. Me and her got into the cart and we started going up. Ok don't be nervous I thought to myself. Here goes nothing. "The view looks beautiful from here," I said trying to start a conversation. "I know right!" she said. "But it's not as beautiful as you." I know I know. It was corny but I had to start somewhere. She blushed and looked away. I got up and sat next to her and held her hand in mine. She looked up at me and I stared into her beautiful blue/green eyes. I knew I didn't have to say anything more. I leaned in and then it happened.

~Sam's pov~

He told me I was beautiful. I looked away and I was pretty sure I was blushing. He came over and sat next to me and grabbed my hand. I turned around and his beautiful melted brown eyes bored into mine. He leant in and then it happened. He kissed me! I was shocked for a second but then I kissed him back. I felt fireworks that I have never felt before. My heart was racing. He pulled away and smiled at me. Man I love his smile. "Sorry I had to do that," He said still staring into my eyes. I smiled and looked away. He pulled my chin up to look at him and said,"Ever since I saw you I thought you were the most perfect girl in the world. Your smile, your beautiful eyes, your hair, your body, everything about you drives me crazy. Everywhere I look, I only see you because you are stuck in my brain. Will you go on a date with me?" "Oh my god, of course Taylor!" I said still not breaking eye contact. The Farris Wheel stopped and we had to let go of each others hands to get out. I walked out and smiled at him and all of the boys have us suspicious looks. I think Taylor decided to not tell them. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go on more rides!" I skipped to the next ride while the boys laughed and walked behind me. This time the ride was a roller coaster that went upside down. I don't really like upside down rides but I couldn't look like a scaredy cat in front of all the boys that wanted to go on. We got into the line and I was silent watching the roller coaster growing more and more fearful of the ride. I think that Taylor noticed because he pulled me to the side and asked me if I was ok. "Yea I'm fine, I'm not that fond of upside down roller coasters but I don't want to hold any of the boys back," I said my voice shivering. "Hey, it's ok I'll sit next to you and hold your hand." "Thank you but I thought you didn't want any of the boys to find out?" I asked. "They won't see it's fine. I'll be there for you if you get scared." "Thank you." I said sort of hugging him but not so obvious. We got onto the ride and our group took up the entire train of carts. Me and Taylor luckily got the back. The roller coaster started and I squeezed my eyes shut. I heard Taylor laughing and he grabbed my hand. I peeked my eyes open to see all of the boys with their hands in the air screaming. All of a sudden we went upside down and I screamed. On the other hand, Taylor was laughing his head of at me and was having a good time on the coaster. Finally, it was over and when we got off Matt pulled me aside. "Hey I know that you are afraid of upside down roller coasters, are you ok?" That's another thing that I love about Matt, he always cares about me. "Yea I'm fine thanks," I said while hugging him. We started walking towards the next ride.
