-Eren's POV-
"Good. Because you're all that I have then."
Those were some of the hardest words I've ever said. I just don't know why. I caughed slightly louder than before. My breathing was hitched and I was out of breath. Dizziness started to flood over me for some reason.
"Levi..."
"Yeah...?"
"Hold on a sec."
I need my medicine, but Levi can't get to it. I stood up. Not the best idea but... not the worst.
"Eren what are you-"
"I'll be back."
With that I walked off. Right off to the upstairs bathroom, shutting the door.
"Eren?"
Levi knocked on the door, a faint "Hold on" from me in reply.
I opened the cabinet above the sink. Humming to myself I shuffled through the jars and pill bottles until I pulled out the bottle of iron suppliments I was looking for. I grabbed a dixie cup and poured some water into it and just like that I had taken my pill. At least some iron was in me.
But maybe I didn't get to the pills fast enough.
All I remeber is a door opening. And then, thud.
I didn't know it but Levi had opened the bathroom door at just the right time and he had caught me from fainting. That thud, that was him dropping on his knees to catch me.
"Eren? Eren? Hey Eren wake up. Eren?"
The next thing I know, I'm being violently shaken by Levi.
"Le- What's- What?"
I sounded all hazy and confused. Hell, I was hazy and confused.
Hella hazy.
Hella confused.
"Eren you passed out... are you okay?"
"Uh... I'm kinda out of it... right now..."
"Eren what were you doing in the bathroom?"
"Anemic..."
"What? Eren think."
All I could see was the look on levi's face. It was... concerned-looking. But it looked caring too.
"I'm anemic. I haven't..."
"Eren don't you pass out again."
"I haven't had my iron supplimets in so... long."
I could tell Levi was actually concerned. His voice gave it away, so did his eyes.
"Well you just took them, yeah?"
"Mhm..."
"Good. Eren you scared me. Can you sit up?"
I didn't answer. All I did was try to sit up, my arms shaking as I tried to support myself. Once up, I plopped back down.
"Yep. And nope."
"Eren let me help you."
"I don't need help."
"Yes you do."
Levi sat me up and we talked. Well, he talked. I tried to speak as best I could, but he was talking to keep me from getting even more hazy. My breathing was still hitched from the anxiety of the whole situation, and almost every other sentence that came from Levi's mouth was 'stay calm.' And I did. I did stay calm. All thanks to Levi.
After about two hours of just talking, the phone rang and Levi went to get it. After about five minutes, he came back.
"That was your mom. She asked me to stay here with you for a while. She won't be home for a few days. Something happened with a friend."
"Figures."
I sighed and Levi sat next to me on the bed.
"Levi, I'm getting kinda tired."
"Well yeah, a lot's happened in the past few hours since you passed out. Why don't you lay down and sleep and I can go take a nap downstairs."
"No- I mean, stay with me- I mean, could you?"
Of fucking course.
There's the old me. All clingy and needy.
The thing is, I seem to have caught Levi off guard.
"U- uh yeah sure."
As I laid back, I gave a short, panful laugh.
"Levi you know you can lay down. You don't have to sit on the end of the bed. It's big enough for two people."
All Levi did was nod as he laid down beside me.
