The new home is pretty quiet.

It feels empty of any presence but I don't wanna speak too soon. Perhaps I should put that attention aside and worry about Tavius.

The beautiful little guy is fast asleep in his bassinet with a white hat on his head. He's plenty of tired so I feel bad waking him out of his sleep to feed him. Now I feel nervous about touching him I wasn't nervous at first because my friend was there and of course I was trying to impress her with holding him but now she's gone and can't coach me anymore. I carefully took the hat off his head and lift him into my arms, like I did at the hospital carefully placing the bottle into his mouth. He began to drink slowly. I'm so happy. Well now I'm not..I can feel him letting his diaper feed too. After putting him down for his nap I decided to go ahead and explore the grounds or house.

Narrator

To Chester the house looks pretty startling than his old house since his father was alive during the 1950's where they had all sorts of crazy stuff that can make a living room look pretty crowded with all kinds of knickknacks with unsettling sinister eyes. It's a very old home, the design was specifically aimed to protect a soldier or their family from enemy house invasions during war therefore there's all kinds of secret rooms or entries . It even sit's alone surrounded by a lake in the backyard and trees aside the house. The fireplace was crowed with ashes. Shelf's were crowded with antique dolls. But the most frightening thing was the life size clown doll that sat in his mother's rocking chair sitting next to a tall lamp.

"Fucking creepy.." He shudders at the sight of it. "It looks so realistic I mean the face is still cartooney but those eyes, hands, feet, legs! All of it looks pretty dam real! Who's idea was it to get this thing? I remember when I was a little boy and I would run into the clown during a dark game of hide and go seek I would break down into tears. Benny was what my mother named it. Granddad always told me this house was dreadful to hide in during the dark times so they bought a lot of goofy junk to enjoy and scare the intruders. But this clown was found under my bed one night. Mother always said my dad could have put it there to scare me but dad knew better. He never liked Benny either, he thought there was funny business going on between him and mom. " Looks like it could be a man in a costume that's ready to jump up any moment to get you.

"Well Benny..your clothes looks a little yellow and some of your hair is gone but you still look the same. I'm a big strong man now, you don't scare me anymore. Now I got a child and if you ever harm him, out on the streets you go. Why don't you smile about that?" He only lived in the home for a week when he was a small boy so it was plenty more to explore. There was a second floor where he had left the baby, there was a first floor where he currently is, a basement floor, a bunker room below the basement floor, and there's also an attic. Next he went down to the basement which was lead by a red beautiful carpet cascading down stairs and straight ahead to a hallway of doors till it end at an abnormal looking bookcase. It was where the bunker room door hid. He was always told to stay out that room.

"I had enough exploring today." As much as he wanted to look behind each door the hair on the back of his neck told him it was time to go upstairs now. Back up the rose red basement stairs, through the living room and up the cream carpet stairs passing the paintings and wall mirror to a pentagon shape line up of rooms with one window in the hall he went to the one at the end where he left the door open. "Daddy's back Kwame." Chester peeks inside the bassinet and the baby is still sound asleep. "I can't relax at all I feel like I'm just waiting for something terrible to happen I can't get my nerves off of it. Maybe I should call somebody than again what if no one wants to be bothered. Maybe I should be a little more confident..But this house is so big and the possibilities of anything here is endless. Maybe I should sleep..I'm so tired I don't even realize it anymore. I thought having a kid would help me sleep at night but he takes it away too! The only difference is, his subtraction of my sleep taken in a good way. Unlike demons and what not."

Chester gave a soft kiss to Tavius head and went on across to the other room. Before he could touch the knob he was stopped in the hallway when there was a knock at the front door. Who could that be? No one could be visiting a neighbor the far away. Chester went ahead downstairs and slowly opened the door to a delivery man holding a painting. It wasn't that bizarre since the house is filled with several paintings. Being as though he's been haunted it never hurts to look up other paranormal things such as houses, hotels, and paintings. For there are 3 haunted paintings Chester knows for fact that he must avoid; they are The Anguished Man, The Hands Resist Him, and The Crying Boy.
