C H A P T E R 1

I got up quite early hence the fact that i have to move. I heard shuffling downstairs so I'm guessing that my parents are already woke because they're early birds. I already had my outfit already out so all I could do is shower and cater to my bed head. I got up with quite confidence as usual . I showered then cater to my hair and all I really did was put on some lip gloss and drew my eyebrows to perfection.

After getting my personal belongings situated I climbed down the stairs and headed to the kitchen when the best aroma blessed my nostrils . I walked in the kitchen to see my dad with his jacket to his suit behind his chair and him with a pen jotting down some business related things while my mom was preparing the plates then I remembered my manners

"  good morning mom and dad" I said while resting my purse on the island taking my phone out and then head toward the table taking a seat

"Good morning sweetheart "they said in unison with a small smile

"I'm really going to miss you sweetheart although you're old enough to live on your own "my mom said placing plates in front of my dad and I

"I know mom you even told me this as soon as I went to college but hey I'll come and visit you and dad from time to time might even spend the holidays" I said placing a bacon in my mouth without the fork

"That sounds great honey " my dad said agreeing with me

"But hurry up because you have to get going " my mom said as I picked my pace up eating

"Ok I'll hurry and dad don't forget about that 'thing' I told you about" I said smirking

"I got you lani bug "my dad said winking

"Hmm , you and your dad are up to no good " my mom said while shaking her head

Five minutes passed and I had already ate and got my purse to head out I gently kissed my mom and dad on the way out

"Maylani don't forget sex after marriage"my mom yelled hence the fact that I am still a virgin because I never had a boyfriend.

"Mom"I whined

"Okay but I know you catch my drift"she said as I made my way to the car

"Yes mom love you guys" I said while getting into the car turning on the engine and waiting a couple of seconds before I reverse out the driveway

I must imply I'm reversing to drive into my whole new  life.

After a couple of hours of driving maylani finally reached her condo. She knew that she was doing pretty fine because she settled in a nice condo in Atlanta the wealthier side at that.

Maylani finally parked her car into her garage and went inside . She wasn't amazed because her mother and herself  came up with the furniture and home decor . She had a great advantage because her mom is a professional architect and her dad is a well known real estate agent .

I walked in the kitchen and headed to the cupboards and refrigerator to see if there is any food.to my surprise there wasn't any

"Shit"I mumbled to myself

Well I guess I have to go shopping. As soon as I grabbed my purse my phone rang . I scrimmage through my purse to find my phone , I finally found it and accept the call because it was my best friend kayana

"Hello kayana" I said grabbing my purse walking to my garage door

"Maylani where are you"kayana asked while as I entered my car
