I snap another picture of my beautiful friend Morgan. She's been my model since I got into photography three years ago. I was the photographer for our college newspaper back in UCLA. She's basically famous out here in California. She's an actress and model and currently has 790k followers. I happen to run her Insta account. I take her pictures, edit them and caption them. She, of course, adds the occasional selfie or post to her story. She pays me and my works is credited. Hopefully credited enough to land me a job. I also work part time at a newspaper in town. I'm a second hand photographer but I also wrote articles as well. Writing my own posts to the pictures I take to inspire people is a true passion. Managing Morgan has been a great job. If only I could spread my wings some more and really show the world my potential.
"Did you get the shot?" Morgan asks.
I give her a thumbs up, "Can we go eat now?"
"Sure," she laughs.
I pack up my equipment and we exit the large field we were taking some early nature shots. I made her get up at dawn so we could take some great sunrise pictures. Her followers will love these.

"Can we walk about your future, please? And don't avoid the question this time!" Morgan pressures.
"We just sat down. Can I order before you fire me?" I joke.
"No! This is serious, Lauren. I want you to do great things with your life. Not be stuck taking care of me everyday. You've made my career possible!"
"I like taking care of your career. You're my best friend."
"Even so... you need your own life!"
"I have a life!" I protest.
"When's the last time you dated?"
I pause, "Hm... Jake? Jack? John? What was his name?"
"You mean Jarrod? You broke up with him junior year of college. We're twenty one, Lauren! You should probably start getting over him now."
"Very funny. Besides I'm content where I am," I lie.
"Liar," Morgan folds her arms over her chest.
I huff, "Maybe. But what if I like living here in California! You pay me and so does the newspaper! I have a good life and I'm fine."
"Then you won't mind coming with me to Spain next week?"
"Spain!" I exclaim, "what's in Spain?"
"Besides good wine and handsome men? Some fashion show I'm modeling for," she shrugs.
"I would love to come!"
"I'm glad! The flight leaves in four days and we're there for five days. Sound good?"
"Sounds perfect."
