I.
You were big and tall as long as I remember,
Recalling the times when the sky was amber.
Laying down on the grass of green,
Staring up to Heaven, where I can hear the wind.

II.
You were holding my little hand as it were a soft cotton cloth,
Where I can see your scars out carved and drawn,
Smiling gently at me while waiting for dawn,
As you marched back to that devastating war.

III.
You came back as soon the leaves started to dry.
Sleeping soundly besides me, underneath the great open sky.
But when the Heaven's aroused,
You left before I can cry.

IV.
Time flies by in a blink of an eye.
I grew up, not the cub you once knew.
You were stunned and surprised when I got taller than you.
Yet our relationship did not grew.

V.
Another day had passed, and I grew older.
The distance between us got even longer.
My eyes have gone dead and cold,
As I let go of your hand, and began walking on my own.

VI.
We met again in a place where it pours,
Declaring my freedom as I fought you with arms and swords.
You cried silently of a river of tears, asking, "What have I done to you that made you feel down?"
I stared with lonesome eyes, and replied, "nothing" as I look at you from the ground.
