“The day the earth shut down”
Chapter I: The story begins.
It all started like a normal day in Dardarus life. His mom was making breakfast and his dad was reading the paper like always. Dardarus came down faster than a cheetah with the smell of eggs and bacon.
“Good morning son,” said Laurence. “How did you sleep?”
“Same old, same old dad” said Dardanus. What Dardanus didn't tell his parent is that he kept having the same strange dream every night.
“Honey eat you’re breakfast, you’re to be late” said Helen.
All of the sudden, Dardarus’ best friend came running into the door.
“Hello Epaphus you want some breakfast” asked Helen.
“Nah, thanks Mrs. I already ate.” “Hey dude, you do first hours homework because I need help from the beginning of the page to the end of the worksheet” said Epaphus.
“Man, you have to start doing your homework or else you’re going to fail,” explained Dardarus.
“Would you stop acting wise and just let me copy it,”
Dardarus finished his breakfast and he and Epaphus headded for school. Dardanus and Epaphus had been best friends since kinder garden. Not only did they both have the oddest names in school, but everything from they’re age to the day they were born matched.Most people thought it was weird but they actually thought it was kind of cool.Both of the boys 15 birthday was coming up and they new exactly what they wanted their party to be like. They’re families did everything together since they were little.They finally got to school after walking 3 blocks, which for Epaphus seemed like forever.
When they got to school they’re first class was starting.The two boys skipped lunch and started wandering around their school. For some reason the two of them noticed something weird about the teachers that were monitoring lunch and the janitors.They got the feeling they were looking at them.
“Hey, Dardarus im getting a feeling that were being watched by the teachers” said Epaphus.
“Yea, I noticed it too,” said Dardarus in a sarcastic.
They noticed that they were all going away in the same direction.
“Let’s go see what they’re up to” as always Dardarus went with Epaphus to make shure that he stayed out of trouble.They followed them for a time but they lost them, they were betrayed by the bell.
Chapter II: Dardarus and Epaphus party.
School flew by as fast as a siren.The two boys walked home as they did everyday but something felt still felt weird about the people around them.They didn't know what it was but they felt like everybody was glowering at them.In the middle of their trip they went their separate ways.When Dardarus got home he noticed that his dad wasn't reading the paper like always and hes mom was watching TV, something she never did.
What’s going on here? Thought Dardarus.
The same thing was happen at Epaphus house; in fact his parents’ weren't even there.
“Mom, Dad?”Screamed out Epaphus.
It was night when the parents got home they told Dardarus and Epaphus that they where planning their party.The Epaphus believed them but Dardarus had his doubts. Night was over and morning flourished like a beautiful orchid.It was the boy’s birthday today and they were determined to make it the best day ever.They both got a special breakfast in their homes even though their parents wont say what they had planned for them.
