Anastasia Carras
"Miss Anastasia, your mother and father are waiting for you downstairs, you must hurry" Valentina called from my doorway before scrambling off to collect my parents bags. I sighed in response.
This summer was going to be the worst for me, having to travel all the way to Brighton for a family vacation with my parents best friends is one thing, however having to spend a whole season with the devil incarnate himself speaks levels.
I rushed around my room, collecting the last of my essentials, shoving them in my suitcase and zipping it up, with a slight struggle. I sighed deeply thinking about the unfortunate regrets I'm going to have this summer. I could have spent the summer relaxing by the beach in Mykonos or riding bicycles through Rome with my best friend, Amarni. But the world is not on my side.
See, the thing is, we've been doing this with the Malik family for a while now, since I was 6. I have no problem with the Malik family, in fact our family are incredibly close as my father and Yaser are business partners, however one particular Malik has been making my life hell for the last 14 years since we've met.
Zayn Malik, with the godly gifted sculpted cheekbones, almost everyone knows that. Especially Amarni considering she comments on them every time he is mentioned in a conversation, but he is an ultimate twat. He is the definition of an arrogant jackass who has pulled every prank and trick in the book on me. So you can imagine, how much i'm dreading spending my whole summer with him.
Last summer, both Zayn and I didn't attend the annual summer holiday in Brighton, considering that I was studying in college, and Zayn was doing God knows what. So my parents had forced me to come, considering that Trisha, who basically treats me like her own daughter was dying to see me again.
I dropped my suitcase to the floor and rolled it out of my room, as I approached the stairs, I embraced myself for the most difficult summer yet.

"Anastasia, my haven't you aged" Trisha called, grabbing my face with her perfectly manicured hands. She kissed me on the cheek and pulled me into a tight embrace.
"It's good to see you again, how have things been with the business?" I responded, lightly.
"Not too bad dear, i've began to expand the shop to different locations, hopefully there will be one here soon" Trisha explained, I smiled softly at her, and before dragging my suitcase on the gravel drive way, towards the beach house.
Trisha is a beauty therapist, and is one of the best back at home. My mother and her have been best friends since high school and it just so happens thats how my mother and father met, through Trisha.
As both of my parents were catching up with Trisha, I continued to enter the beach house, my sneakers squeaking on the fresh marble floor. The cool breeze finally hitting my face, and yet house was awfully quiet.
"Well, if it isn't Ana. Long time no see cheeks" a ghastly familiar voice appeared from behind me. I turned around and gave him a tight lipped smile.
"And the devil himself, how are you Malik" I sarcastically said, throwing my suitcase to the floor. He stepped closer to me, looking down as if I was inferior to him. He glanced over at my body, before returning his caramel eyes to mine.
"Great actually, now that you're here" I rolled my eyes, as a smirk slowly crept upon his face. He brushed his fingers along my shoulder and took a loose strand of hair that had fallen from my bun and curled it around his finger.
I instantly slapped his finger away, picking up my suitcase and running up the flight of stairs to my room. I didn't realise until now, but I forgot to breathe. I finally let a sigh of relief out as I felt my cheeks blush.
God I hate him.
