Victor Nikiforov!" You watched as the silver haired male made his way towards the center of the rink. The audience whistled and cheered as he stood on the platform and waved back at them. He claimed his medal and gently placed his lips against it, showing his appreciation and happiness.
You giggled and watched him intently as he posed for the flashing lights capturing the event.
"You're watching it again?" You were slightly startled at the sudden voice, but you glanced over your shoulder and smiled at Victor. You noticed his hair was slightly damp and there were a few droplets on his bare stomach. His sweatpants hung lowly on his hips and his hands clung onto the ends of the towel around his neck."Don't judge. I love this video. Look how happy you were!" You stood up and faced him, posing the same way as Victor did on the screen. Your foot behind the other and your hands raised towards the crowd. He chuckled at your form and walked towards you.
"I'm still as happy as I was back then. Or am I not?" He notified you, his eyebrows raised. Even though the question was innocent and joke-like, the glint in his eyes clearly showed curiosity."Only you can tell..." You answered him. You swung your arms around his neck, and looked up at him lovingly. Victor placed his hands on your sides and gently pressed his lips against yours. He hummed into the gentle kiss, his closed lids opening again once you pulled back. You admired his features quickly, tracing your finger over the edge of his jawline.
You pecked the prominent jaw and made Victor chuckle. He caressed your sides and sighed."I gotta leave in a few minutes..." You pouted and whined, pressing your cheek against his chest. Victor tugged a piece of hair behind your ear and pecked your forehead.
"I promised Yuri I'd watch him practice. I owe him a lot."
Just like he expected a slight twinkle appeared in your e/c orbs. The color darkened and a hint of curiosity started dwelling up in them. Victor had seen that look quite often when he mention Plisetsky and he felt like you might had something going on with the skater. Of course he wanted to trust you, but he could clearly see a resemblance in your eyes from how you used to look at him. He just wanted to prove if what he was thinking was right.
"Wanna join me?" I'll take you out afterwards." Without hesitation you nodded. Victor smiled, but internally was very eager to know what exactly made you so excited to accompany him.
*Flashback*
A few months back was the first time he noticed you. Yakov had introduced you to Mila, who was about the become your trainer until the Grand Prix Finals were over. You were an experienced skater, and had been doing the sport since you were 4. You definitely had the skill the compete against others, but you had never made the finals. You had never even won gold at any competition.
"Who the hell is this?" Mila and you both turned at the same time. The guy standing in front of you was familiar and you were quite sure you had seen him on tv sometime. Mila seemed to know him quite well, as she smirked at him and ruffled his head.
"Language, Plisetsky." Victor appeared behind the boy, and placed a hand on his shoulder. He chuckled, then let his gaze fall to your appearance."Hi, you must be Y/n..." You nodded and smiled at him, extending his hand out for him to shake. He grabbed it and pressed a gentle kiss against the back of it. You giggled.
"Victor Nikiforov, nice to meet you..." he told you with a wink. You bit your lower lip.
"Oh my, gentlemen are almost extinct these days..." He chuckled.
"Lucky you found one..."He was right. He was definitely right.
Yuri presented his choreography he had created himself and asked him for feedback. But instead of watching Yuri, he watched your reaction to his routine. He saw how your eyes widened with each jump and he even noticed your slightly pink tinted ears. You would often smile to yourself or let out small gasps. Victor's theory was completely true.
