The crisp morning air breezed by each house smoothly. The dew on the grass were in delicate glass orbs, untouched. The birds sang their peaceful morning. Everything about this morning could have fit into a clique movie untill... "Stop Pansy,I don't want to play with you!" Elda shouted in frustration.
"Why not el?" Pansy cooed innocently. This had been her nickname for the first girl for a while now and she loved its ability to annoy the poop out of her "friend".

Elda looked at Pansy angrily. She had been bothered by the shorter girl for the past hour because their parents agreed that they did not "spend enough time together." Elda then took a deep breath and said" I'll play with you." Pansy cocked her head so Elda continued  ," once every blue moon."

Pandy's little hurt eyes peered up at the furious redhead and a smirk crept onto her face," Oh, so you wouldn't mind little ol' me go tell those parents of yours that your best friend is a muggle? How would they react? They wouldn't be happy now would they? No,no, no, they wouldn't. So, be a nice girl and play with me or your little secret goes out."

Elda looked away and gritted her teeth causing her dark  crimson hair to fly in front of her fair colored face, offering protection from her dementor's wrath. Elda's mind buzzed with emotions and she couldn't think straight. Then, Pansy screamed. That caused Elda to snap her head in the direction of the dissonance. An army of cockroaches were following her like a pet dog. Hysteria over came Elda as she burst out in laughter. Then realization slowly seeped in; Pansy was going to tell about Elda's secret. She took off slamming her feet on the pavement in an effort to catch up to the nearby snitch. She was about to give up hope when she saw the cockroaches circling Pansy. She grinned and took off , running past the trapped bully. She ran up the pathway to her secluded house and pulled open the door.
She slipped in and smiled when was stopped by her mother,"Why are you home so early?"

Elda stopped and slipped," Oh,Pansy got bored and went home."

Her mom shook her head" never mind you need to get ready." Elda nodded and ran upstairs. There ,her dad was waiting, " hey sunshine! You ready?" She smiled," just give me five minutes" she ran into her room and slipped on her favorite royal purple shirt and jeans. Then she put her hair up into a high ponytail and slipped on her hiking boots. She peered into the mirror and was met with her own deep grey-blue eyes. Her dad had once said that her eyes were like those of Helga Hufflepuff, yet he mother rejected the statement confidently. She grinned widely and raced down the stairs to meet her dad in the kitchen.

"Ready?" Her dad asked. Elda nodded excitedly. Her mom knelt down and kissed her forearm. This had been a tradition since she could remember because her parents were both death eaters and were loyal to Voldemort. She never understood how they were so loyal to a dead serial killer.A loud crack obliterated her mental rant as she felt sick to her stomach.

"Were here!" Her dad chirped. Now, don't pay notice to the mudbloods. They are worthless." Elda nodded and bit my cheek. As a walked , a girl with bushy brown hair was walking by and waved. Instinctively, Elda waved back . Then her dad snatched her arm hard and growled, "what did I say? Do. Not. Take notice to. MUDBLOODS!" The girl looked flustered and mumbled"sorry." Het dad grabbed her arm and dragged her towards her school supplies and didn't let her say a word. If she did he would tug her by the arm.

Her dad had finally calmed down when the two went to grab a pet. "Ok," he said," you are allowed to get two pets. Choose wisely." Elda nodded. Her eyes immediately gravitated towards a tan barn owl. She smiled and asked for the bird.

Once the bird was in its cage, Elda walked further into the store . There were kneazles near by, so she checked them out. One seemed different then the rest. It was brown with grey spots, sleek furred, had green eyes and looked at her intently. She grinned and once more asked for the creature. This time, however, the woman asked, "why this one?" Elda shrugged. The woman shook her head and got the animals," 20 gaellons please." Elda's dad gave the woman a sack of coins and walked out with Elda and the kneazle following.

The final store they went to was Ollivanders and Elda couldn't wait. They walked inside and all Elda could feast her eyes were the multitudes of wands in the store. Out of nowhere, an old man walked up to them. "Ollivander," her dad greeted. " hello , I see a child in need of a wand?" The old man replied." Yes,please" Elda spoke. The man grinned and went into the maze. A few minutes later, he walked out with a few wands. "Try these," He said. She did the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh wand with no luck. "Hmmmm, oh , I know just the wand!" He ran back in and walked out with a purple and brown wand,"Try this one." She did and a sudden warmth rushed over her. Ollivander smiled," feisty 15" Purple Heart and hawthorn wand with chimaera scale and dragon heartstring. This one will definitely backfire at least once so be prepared." Elda smiled and nodded. My dad stood up," thank you Ollivander." The man grinned," my pleasure."

Elda and her dad walked out. "Ready?" Elda nodded. Bang! They were back home."so, how did it go?" ,Mom asked. Dad answered" pretty well, except some waved to a mudblood." He glared at Elda. Mom looked straight at her," this is unacceptable! I will not let you grow up to like those jokesters! They ruin the reputation of the wizarding world! How dare you even glance at her much more wave! Give me your wand and go to your room right now!" Elda looked down nervously and pulled out her wand. She held out her wand for her mother yet, the kneazle wanted something else. It jumped up and snatched the wand before taking off. Elda ran to her room to avoid more trouble. When she was all alone, she heard a rustle and saw the kneazle holding her wand. She chuckled and held out her hand and the kneazle dropped the wet wand into her hand. "Thanks, I guess." She hid the wand into her boots for safe keeping . Then her dad suddenly burst into the room. "Take this or your mother will destroy it." Elda's eyes widened and she took all of her supplies, hid them, and grabbed her owl."Good night." Elda said. Dad turned off the light and closed the door. She sighed and decided to write to her grandpa.
When she finished up get letter she read it softly aloud ,
Dear grandpa,
This is Elda, your granddaughter. I miss you so much and I wish to see you soon. I just got my school supplies. My wand is really cool!
While we were getting supplies , I saw a mudblood ( or muggleborne) and waved. Now my parents are really mad. When I was younger, I would ask you why they hate a single group so much. You told me that you would answer when I was older. Now I'm older and I need to know. Please. No one will tell me.
I miss you. I hope st. Mungos is a nice place and I'll visit you as soon as possible.
-Elda
She smiled sadly. Then she gave her letter to her owl and he, whom she named Nicholas. Flew off. Satisfied, she curled up in her bed and fell asleep.
