-{Ciel's POV}-

The minute (y/n) stepped out of the iron doors, I felt my heart clench up. We had such strong feelings for her, and we are trying to make her decide between all of us. She wanted space, and that was something that I could give her, but for how long? "Shall we go?" Alois asked Claude, who nodded. So, they left it was just Viscount Johnson, the servants, Sebastian and I now. "I would like to be alone right now, I'm sorry. One of the servants will escort you." Viscount Johnson sighed, sitting down on a bench. I waved my hand, "No need, I will leave myself. I will tell you when we can schedule the next meeting." Viscount Johnson nodded. I left first, followed by Sebastian and then the other servants.

The entire carriage ride home, the air was tense. From the feeling of jealousy or envy coming from either of us, I couldn't tell. Sebastian looked as if he wanted to say something, but whatever it was never left his mouth. I kept thinking to myself about (y/n) and her facial expression as she told us about her backstory. As she spoke, (y/n) looked scared and nervous. She could have been afraid that we would judge her for being the way she was, but she chose to become a demon for a good reason. But I thought to myself, No matter what, I still love (y/n). I will find a way to make it up to her. My face flushed at my words, and the carriage seemed to get warmer.

Early the next morning, I was beginning to grow impatient. I couldn't stay away from (y/n) for that long, being at Houndsworth was nearly unbearable without her. I called Sebastian, "Prepare a carriage, we will be heading to the Viscount Johnson's estate." Sebastian bowed and left to carry out my orders. "Soon enough." I whispered.

When we had arrived at the estate, I made my way to the front doors and knocked, hoping that (y/n) would be the one to answer. As the door opened, I caught a glimpse of (h/c) hair and the classic maid uniform, calming my nerves. When the door had been fully opened, (y/n) stood there, looking a little awestruck. "Good morning, Earl Phantomhive. What can I do for you?" I cleared my throat and avoided her eyes. "I was hoping to apologise to you for yesterday, what we had done was unacceptable." (y/n) smiled brightly, "You are forgiven, everyone had respected my wishes and gave me time, so thank you." I coughed, "And I was also wondering, if you would accompany me for lunch in the town." (y/n) nodded, "I would love to! Just let me get ready, I will be down in 5 minutes time." I nodded and went to wait by the carriage.

When (y/n) had exited the estate, she was wearing a simple black skirt and cream blouse, with elegant black flats. I helped her into the carriage and then got in myself. Sebastian closed the door and then we started out to the town. "We will be going to a cafe, by the harbor, if you don't mind." She shook her head, "No, not at all."

Once we had arrived, I helped (y/n) out of the carriage and then made my way to where Sebastian was. "Sebastian, leave us alone unless I call you." Sebastian looked hesitant to comply. "I order you." Sebastian sighed and then lead the horses away. "Now," I turned back to (y/n), "let's get started, shall we?"

-{Y/N's POV}-

Once we had entered into a lovely cafe, the Earl Phantomhive had sat us down at a table. After picking up a menu and looking over it for a few minutes, a man came over. "Can I take your order?" I looked over at the Earl and he nodded, "I would like a slice of chocolate cake and an earl grey tea." The man finished writing that down and turned to me. "And for you, miss?" "I'm going to get a (f/d - favourite dessert) and an earl grey tea as well." The man smiled and said, "Your order will be ready in a few minutes." After the man had left, the Earl Phantomhive looked at me as I observed the cafe.

"(y/n), why did you look so surprised when I was at the door this morning?" He asked. "I honestly was, you were the last person I expected this morning, but I'm glad it was you." I smiled with a blush. Then our order came, after taking a bite of the (f/d), I hummed in happiness. "This is delicious!" I said after I had finished that bite. Ciel laughed a little and I smiled. "Thank you for taking me here Ciel!" I suddenly realized my mistake and covered my mouth with my hands, my face becoming just as red as the strawberry on the Earl Phantomhive's cake. "I'm so sorry!" The Earl sent a questioning look at me, "What did you do?" He asked, then realized. "Oh, you can call me Ciel, I'd like that." I let out a sigh of relief, "Thank you, Ciel."

After our wonderful time in the cafe together, we walked around town. We didn't even notice it had became quite late in the evening. "I'd like to show you something." Ciel told me, grabbing my hand softly and taking me to a forest area close to the outskirts of the town. He lead me through a path that looked well used, but still very hidden between trees. As we walked, I noticed the path was lined with wild flowers that looked beautiful, especially as the sun set. "These are beautiful" I muttered. Ciel smiled, "There's something even better at the top." That was all I needed to have me eager to see what lied ahead. Once we had gotten to the top, there was a breathtaking view of the entire town.

Ciel and I sat down close to the edge, our fingers still intertwined. I looked at him, "Thank you for today, it was really fun." His face lit with moonlight as he whispered a single phrase, "(y/n), I love you." Ciel slowly pulled my face closer to his, my eyes fluttered shut and our lips met in a beautiful passionate kiss. As we pulled back I could only reply with a whispered, "I love you too."
