A Small Village Boy

I woke up to the sound of our family , as we are farmers we take care of the village livestock and crops. We moved here to the village after i was born. Its a peaceful life. Welp, better get going. I got up and walked downstairs. Of course no one was downstairs. They
were all out working on the farm. I went outside to find my dad tending to the cows. I nodded to him and he nodded back. I went to the crops and harvested them one by one. I looked up at the village, there was many different kind of villagers... ok just two races. the ones with big noses... and the ones... without big noses... Ok im not good at remembering. I think they taught us the terms in class but i was probably​ to busy passing notes to my friend Nate. Speaking of here he comes now. "Hey Dude" I said smiling. "Hey man Whats up?", he replied. "Eh, not much. Just tending to the crops" I said nonchalantly. He grinned "Hey dude.", he whispered "You ready for tonight?'' "You bet!" I said eagerly​. Every saturday night we go out mining with the other miners. Mom isn't thrilled but dad is  happy that im looking for a career besides farming. "Dude! you should ask that new girl to come." The new girl he's referring to is Kate. She moved here about three weeks ago. she came from a more tropical village. shes no taller than I, with slightly dark skin and blackish/brown curly hair "Naw dude. I asked her last time and her aunt and uncle wont let her.", I said. "Strict guardians huh? Bummer.", he replied. "Yea" i said looking down. "Welp see ya around dude!" he said as he was walking off. "Right back atcha bro!" I shouted back. I can't wait!
