"Ms. Gi!" Jaewoo called out and continued " I'm back home!"

"I'm in the kitchen." Ms. Gi shouted from the kitchen then Jaewoo went to her while jumping like a flamingo.

"There, your stuff." Jaewoo stated as she placed the bags on the table.

Ms. Gi smiled while looking at her and then checked the bags and started to take the packs out along with the meat "You bought extra packs of spaghetti I see."

Jaewoo looked at the meat with disgust " After that shock you gave me with word meat, I bought an extra one for me."

Ms. Gi giggled and stated, " Now you can go to your room and continue your sleep."

Jaewoo hummed and looked down then up again at Ms. Gi " Can I go out today?"

"Where exactly?" Ms. Gi asked after she took the meat out of its plastic dish and placed it inside the stainless-steel pot with cut onions.

"I want to go the mall in the downtown, Ms. Gi." Jaewoo put her elbows on the counter and cupped her face with a pout.

"And what about food?" Ms. Gi asked while getting the tomato sauce out of the fridge and put it in the pot.

"I'm not that hungry since I ate Hardees last night." Jaewoo smiled when she remembered then continued " So can I go?"

Ms. Gi nodded then took her pocket and gave Jaewoo an extra amount of money and stated, " If you didn't answer any of my phone calls, I'm getting you."

Jaewoo nodded then went to her room and started to search for her metro card.

"Ugh!" Jaewoo groaned loudly and barked loudly " Where is my metro card?!"

Jaewoo searched again in one of her bags and gave a sigh of relief when she found it on the floor beside the nightstand. She picked it up and put it in her pocket then went towards the door of her room.

"Ms. Gi, I'm leaving!" Jaewoo yelled while holding the brown door knob.

"Take care of yourself and keep your phone with you!" Ms. Gi yelled back while she's in the kitchen pouring the pack of pasta into the hot boiled water with some salt.

"Okay!" Jaewoo shouted then shut the door behind her.

After she was far away from the orphanage and near the metro station, Ms. Gi called her on the phone and asked, "Where are you now?"

"I just got into the metro station, Ms. Gi" Jaewoo stated as she just got inside the metro station.

"Okay, take care of yourself and if anything happened, y-" Ms. Gi's words got broken down when Jaewoo spoke while she's staring at the map to draw it in her head " I scream for help but nope, I won't do that."

She assured and continued " I'll punch whoever wants to punch me in the face and make him go back home swollen."

Ms. Gi sighed " Just take care of yourself."

Jaewoo hanged up and looked at the map for the last time and nodded " The company is not far away from here." Jaewoo put her finger on her location and started to move her finger until she reached the location she wants to reach and stated, " No need for the bus today, only three streets and I'll find myself there."

Afterwards, she took the downstairs to reach the subway and then scanned her card.

After she scanned her card, she got into the subway and found a seat beside the window, she sat and watched the white light getting replaced by another light while the subway is moving. Many thoughts were going through her head, did she waste a good chance with Mrs. Kim? Was it meant to be? Is she doing the right thing for herself?
