"Indigo, get up." Luca hissed trying to wake up the sleeping Indigo. Indigo cracked open her eyes and saw the sun wasn't even up yet, making her roll over in the bed.

"You know the deal, Luca. I get to sleep until at least sunrise." Indigo said colder.

"Not today you don't. Get up and get ready. We're leaving in fifteen minutes." Indigo crawled out of bed and glared at Luca.

Indigo swore as she put on her clothes, brushed her hair, and put on her shoes before leaving her room and entered the kitchen, Where Luca was already dressed and drinking his coffee. "Care to tell me where we're going this early in the morning?"

"Did you already forget? We have a meeting with our fathers. They invited my moron of a brother for some reason." Luca said bitterly taking another sip of his coffee.

"Oh, so someone with emotions will be there. That's good to hear."

"Watch it, missy. If we're going to be married soon, you need to know your place. I'm in control here. Remember that."

Indigo slammed her coffee down on the counter. "That eleven minutes. Why couldn't Axel have been born first?" Indigo stormed out of the house to take a walk in the forest. It was winter and despite being in the village where fire powers originate, it was still cold and Indigo loved it. That was of course because she grew up in the coldest village in Coliea.

A familiar flash of red hair came barreling toward her and crashed into her, pinning her to the ground. "Seems like you've been grounded. Eh? Eh?" Instead of laughing, Indigo created a snowball in her hand and threw it at Axel.

"You're not nearly as funny as you think you are." Indigo smiled. The snow fell off his face and onto Indigos' nose, showing Axel's smile that somehow didn't melt the snow.

"You love it."

"Get off." Axel got off Indigo and held out her hand to help her up. His warm hand clashed with her cool pale skin and Indigo almost forgot about Luca.

"So, why is such a pretty lady such as yourself wandering all by yourself at this hour?" Axel said in a voice that never failed to put a smile on Indigos' face.

"Your jerk of a brother. I swear all he cares about is himself. I'm going to be married to that egotistical dirt bag in a few months and I just, I just want to run away!" Indigo yelled. Her face was red with anger but her eyes were filled with sadness.

"Yeah well, if you ran away, this place would be really boring. We're best friends, aren't we?" Axel smiled at Indigo. "Hey look! The suns coming up." Axel said looking at the sky. The sky was orange and pink with the bright sun creeping up inch by inch. "It's beautiful."

"Yeah." Indigo and Axel watched the sunrise come up until it came up. "Come on, Luca will kill us if we don't get to that meeting." Axel and Indigo walked together to the meeting spot in the middle of town. Easy to say, Luca was less than pleased when she walked through the door.

Luca grabbed Indigo by the collar of her shirt then pinned her against the wall. "You think you can show up this late for a meeting this important?! I knew you would be screwing around with my dimwit of a brother!" Luca shouted.

"Hey! Put her down!" Axel yelled.

"We weren't doing anything. We were just talking." Indigo said back surprisingly calm. "Even if we were you have no control what I do when you're not looking at me. I'm a person too."

"Axel, get out of here," Luca said.

"There will be no need for that." Two extremely dapper men came into the room. Both with gray hair and an aging face. "Mr. Feuer, care to explain why you're pinning your fiancé; not to mention my daughter, against a wall? Because I highly doubt you have any sexual desires with her." The first man said. This man was Jacques Neva, The mayor of Konilura and extremely powerful.

Jaques Neva was a kind and caring leader. He made sure everybody in his village was fed before he sat down to feast, He ran the biggest orphanage in Coliea, he never taxed anybody unfairly or unreasonably, and he often played with the children of the village. Many consider him to be one of the best mayors the village has ever seen. However, people know that his kindness doesn't mean he is flexible with the law. If you're convicted of a crime, you are put on trial immediately and he'll see that you get the punishment you deserve. Nobody dares to break the law. His law.

"Father! It's great to see you again! I would hug you but I'm a bit caught up at the moment." Indigo said waving her arm. "Luca, it would be great if you let me down right about now!" Luca released Indigo's shirt and she landed gracefully on her feet. "Hello, father! Mr. Feuer!" Indigo kissed her father on the cheek and hugged Axel and Luca's father.

"Miss Neva. It's always a pleasure. How's my son treating you?" Luca's father asked. He knew quite well that Luca and Indigo hated each other, and he knew that Luca treated her badly.

"Trying to stay optimistic. The weddings in three months so I don't see a point in complaining," Indigo replied, "anymore anyways," She smiled as she sat down at the table and the meeting began.

"So, what we gathered you here to talk about is the constant fighting between citizens, which I'm sure you're all well aware of," Mr. Feuer started, "These disputes have never gotten too out of hand until recently. A mage from Shiena had planned an attack on Konilura, while he did not succeed, a mother and her two sons were killed in the attacks. We expect all three of you to attend their funeral. Understood?" All three of us nodded. "Anyway, we've been planning a solution to this ordeal. Indigo, in two weeks, you and Axel will be choreographing and performing a dance routine combining both of your powers."

Indigo and Axel looked at each other and gave each other a childish grin. "And Luca, this will mean Indigo will be out of the house a lot, so don't be antagonizing either of them. If you must have someone to blame, blame on of us. You three are dismissed." Indigos father dismissed them. "Oh, Indigo, one more thing." Indigo turned around, "Please come home for dinner tonight. Your mother will be attending." Indigo plastered a smile on her face and vigorously nodded her head.

"I'll be there!" Indigo practically flew out of the room, leaving no cares behind her. Her long black hair danced on her shoulders and her mouth seemed to be stuck in a smile. Indigo couldn't wait to see her mother for the first time in seventeen years.
