Grays pov
"Y/N!!!" I saw her laying there unconscious and bleeding I called for Lucy Natsu and Erza to come and help soon after I yelled their names I saw Natsu running and at that point I just broke down.
Y/n's pov
I was fighting at monster when it hit me back into a tree and I hit my head the last thing I remember be for I went into the black Abyss was some leaves crunching under someone's feet then screaming my name it sounded like gray but it can't be he doesn't care about me.
Time skip five days
Third person
Gray had been sitting by y/n's bed since y/n got to the clinic Gray refused to leave when they told him that there was a chance y/n wouldn't wake up it was a slim chance but it was there and these five days Gray had experienced emotions he had never experienced before like fear, sadness but the most recent one he had never experienced was love, Gray had figured out he was in love with y/n but Gray knew they wouldn't get along, Gray knew y/n hated the cold and frankly he is all round cold
Y/n pov
I opened my eyes looked around and saw Gray sitting in a chair next to the bed asleep I sat for a moment before someone came in I looked for a minute it was Juvia she saw I was awake and she gave me an evil grin and said "Stay away from Gray you pyro not one in this world wants you so stop trying to get Gray to like you cause he doesn't and he never will so you can just stop and is I ever see you near him I will make sure you don't see the day light again that's all for now you flame brain bye." She smiled and walked off while I sat there in disbelief once Gray woke up he started to ask if I was okay but I interrupted his by saying "I'm fine why are you here anyways ice Princess." He looked taken back by this and he said "O-oh I c-can go if you w-want me t-to." I was sad but I blocked it with a blank expression saying "Yes I want buoy to go what do you like me or something dude get over it I'm fire you're ice we would never mix and I wouldn't even like you ever bye." I said with lots of doubt he stared at me before he walked out and it made my heart break even more seeing him hurt and walk out of the room as well as my life
Time skip two months
Y/n's pov
Its been a miserable two months I barely sleep anymore and I barely eat Gray and Juvia got together and I left team Natsu right after I got out the clinic and I've been going on my own missions and Gray and Juvia have their own team they look happy and I didn't want to ruin it for them I walk into the guild hall I lock eyes with Juvia and she sends me an evil grin and I ignore it and go to the mission board and just pick one not caring what anyone says than I walk out and I see Gray so I run off and I hear footsteps behind me and I turn around and see Gray so I said "What Gray?" He looked at me and said "I know what you're doing y/n." I thought to myself 'please save me' "what do you mean Gray" I said softly not having enough strength to talk normally "I mean you haven't been eating me and Juvia are worried about you y/n..."I stared at him "you might be but I know she's not." I said a bit louder he stared back at me "Are you serious y/n me and Juvia try and give you our hearts and this it how you act how selfish of you y/n." I silently nodded and thought to my self 'I wish I could tell you but I can't' "you're right how selfish of me I guess I better stop it bye gray.." I said then walking off with out another word I went to my apartment and sat on the bed before pulling out some vodka and drinking it about an hour later I heard a knock at the door I got up almost falling in the process and answered the door and saw Gray so I giggled "Hey gray what are you doing here." He looked at me and said "I came to check on you...are you drunk y/n?" I giggled once more "I don't know but what I do know is that I've liked you for a while but the Julia or whatever her name is told me to back off when I woke up at the clinic so I did and she was right no one would ever like me I mean even you think I am selfish." He looked at me and said "y/n.."
"yes?" I said
"I like you too." He said
I stared at him before pulling his head down and kissing him I had to do this cause he was a good seven inches taller than me but a minute or two passed and we pulled apart for air damn lungs needing air
"Y/n..." he said
"Yes Gray."I said
"Will you be my girlfriend y/n?" He said hesitant about it
"No Gray" I said
He looked confused before I said
"Instead I'll be yours forever and no one can get in the way of that Gray."
He grinned and picked me up and up and kissed me again.
